Eventually she learned to put herself to sleep in the swing, with the soothing music and the spinning birds as a nice distraction. The swing was a necessity in our house. But around 5/6 months she outgrew it a bit and we put it away (all sleeping in the crib from then on)."

"Sleek and inoffensive in looks. Our newborn/infant lived in this for the first 6 months. She'd nap in it, swaddled and then strapped in. She'd sit and play in it as she got bigger, with the attachable toy bar. And she'd hang out in it if we needed our hands free, while eating, cooking or cleaning. Once she started moving around (rolling and crawling), this seat became obsolete in our house. But we can't wait to use it with our next baby! Definitely worth the dollars spent. "
