what parents are saying
I love the concept for travel (we dried the inserts on the car dashboard in summer!), but for regular use, they're pointless. Just use either disposables or cloth - unless you use a prefold too! (Apr 16, 2019)

These are adorable, but essentially just a more expensive and non waterproof prefold cover that has a place for disposables. The disposable aspect is really nice, though they do leak at times. Jul 05, 2023

Nice and trim look. Great hemp inserts. Cloth was damp and smelly after one pee, even though they are designed to use for multiple pees before washing. These are discontinued, though. Jul 03, 2023

Good trim fit for newborns, if baby is a heavy wetter it does wick onto the cloth cover though. Oct 24, 2022

Good leg seal and gentle diapers. Outside is made of a t-shirt material. These are actually pretty great, but the process of stuffing these is a little of a pain to me. Apr 18, 2021

I have been using this hybrid system for half of my cloth diaper journey and simply love it. It’s the easiest way of doing it. I like the possibility to have a disposable insert for daycare. May 23, 2020

Bleh. These are such a great concept but so awkward! The liner is so bulky but the waist is too saggy. If you pull it tight it leaves marks. There are better options on the market. May 03, 2020

These did not work at all for our little boy. I feel like they'd work better for a girl, but we got leaks constantly and the aplix stuck to everything in the wash even with the laundry tabs. Mar 06, 2020

The trimness of these under clothing is stellar but, they are tedious to put together for wear after washing and the microfiber on the g inserts is nearly impossible to get fully clean. Nov 10, 2019

We loved these reusable diapers and used many of the sizes. Like the fact that the insert allows you to just have to change portion of the diaper if the rest of it was clean. Sep 11, 2019

I adored Gdiapers with my 1st: the flexibility to use the same cover for cloth or disposable inserts? YES PLEASE. On 2nd baby, I got a bit lazy and went straight to disposies. Hoping to revive for #3. Jun 11, 2019

I like these diapers most the most part. However, it feels like you are putting the diaper on backwards (as it closes in the back instead of the front). Jan 30, 2020

Not a fan of these diapers. They do have cute prints and it is a cleaver idea. We seemed to always have leaks no mater how often we changed them. Tried cloth or disposable inserts. Aug 05, 2018

I loved these but hubby didn't. I liked that you can use either a washable insert OR a disposable insert depending on your needs. Great choice for families unsure about 100% cloth diapering May 31, 2018

I like that with the way the waterproof liners are structured that you don't have to change the whole diaper (just the lining) if it's not soiled through - saves on laundry esp if you use disp liners Jan 26, 2018

easy to use but you have to continue to buy their inserts. I tried using other brands but they dont work as well as the gDiaper inserts. But over all they are nice and easy to use and super cute. Dec 31, 2017

Used these for a bit with my daughter but with mixed feelings. They are really easy to use and wash, but the disposable inserts bunch up and get messy. Prone to leaks and blowouts. Nov 22, 2017

I love these. All three babies have been in them. I couldn't commit to the full reusable option so I like the reusable cover with eco-friendly disposable insert. Great option for eco-friendly parents Jul 11, 2017

I loved these when my son was small but he outgrew the absorbency as he got old. If I used more inserts, it became very bulky. We still use from time to time and they're in good shape Jan 15, 2017

Sizing seems to run a bit small (8w/o, 11lbs, S leaves marks on his legs), don't order without also purchasing additional pouches. Company's ship time seems to be slow, also SUPER pricy :( Jan 02, 2017

I wanted to love these. I tried with different inserts and double inserts but they all seemed to leak. Unsnapping for cleaning was difficult and I was worried I would break the snaps. Dec 29, 2016

These seem to work best with their biodegradable inserts. Their cloth inserts do not hold a lot of liquid! We like using them with charcoal bamboo inserts though! So cute too. Dec 01, 2016

I like the idea of the cute colors and patterns, however the cloth material is not the best when trying to reuse covers. They fit fine, we just like PUL covers so we don't have to wash them everytime. Nov 18, 2016

Allows you to use cloth inserts at home and work (when we will be in the same place for a while) and disposable inserts on the go! Easy for babysitters as well, but had lots of leaks and poor fit. Jan 04, 2016

We love gDiapers. Having the option for cloth inserts or disposable ones (flushable and biodegradable) was great and appreciated by daycare. Works with regular prefolds, too! Apr 06, 2013

very versatile (cloth, disposable, or Flushable inserts) but pricey. look cute on, but wish they were a bit more adjustable to help with getting a good seal around the lefs to prevent leaks. Jan 31, 2013
