Experts agree that a better latch eases the transition between breast and bottle, and back. That’s why our accordion nipple stretches back to your baby’s soft palate for a correct latch.
Pumps like the breast:
The accordion-nipple pumps back and forth as the baby applies pressure, releasing the milk as the baby sucks. This is the same pumping motion as on the breast.
Moves for less colic:
Because of the accordion base, the LATCH nipple easily moves with the motion of a newborn baby, which can be frequent as baby gains head control. This allows baby to maintain his latch and reduce ingestion of air into his belly.
Proper latch is achieved when mom's nipple reaches all the way back to baby's soft palate. The accordion-style nipple on LATCH stretches like the breast, helping baby latch easily and correctly.
Happy tummy, happy baby
The LATCH bottle features an anti-colic valve that prevents air bubbles from traveling through breast milk, reducing gas and fussiness.
Like the breast
When breastfeeding, baby controls the flow of milk by applying pressure to the base of mom's nipple. The LATCH bottle mimcs mom by releasing more breast milk as baby pushes against the nipple's base.
Love at first LATCH
New mothers should start their babies with a very slow flow nipple to ease the transition from breast to bottle and back. The LATCH Stage 1 Nipple's flow has been reduced to mimic the breast. The LATCH bottle is designed to help mothers reach their breastfeeding goals.
While feeding, the accordion-style nipple flexes as baby moves her head. This allows baby to maintain her latch, thus decreasing ingestion of air.
Grow with baby
The best transition occurs when bottle flow and mother's flow match. The LATCH Stage 1 Nipple's flow has been reduced to mimic the breast. Stage 2 and Stage 3 nipples (sold separately) allow you to increase the flow as your baby grows.
what parents are saying
These were a great bottle to transition to after nursing. I like that the bottom has a vent to help prevent gas and colic. I find them to be easy to clean. (Feb 19, 2016)
Just started using them a week ago. Bottom detaches for an easy clean. Accordion style nipple is perfect for no nipple confusion but baby does not like it and starts gagging. I'll keep trying with her

These truly latch, tried other bottles but the length and accordion aspect of this nipple are easy for a newborn to latch and eat without swallowing gulps of air. Easy to clean despite the pieces!

We liked these bottles and use the transition cup too, but cleaning the bottles isn't the easiest and the blue valve gets clogged sometimes causing the nipples to collapse. Still a pretty good bottle!

These are our go to bottles! I've used them for both of my kids and will use them for the last. Neither of my kids ended up having to burp much because you can help control the air intake.

Venting system doesn't seem to work with these bottles. When my kiddo sucks on it for long enough the nipple starts collapsing so I have to pull it out from babies mouth and let the pressure out.

Love these. Perfect if you have a little chugger on your hands because the nipples have smaller holes than other bottles. Also, the way the nipple is shaped, even though weird, works well for gas.

I got these because I was breastfeeding. The nipple eventually sucked in was super annoying to constantly fix. I only used the bottle once a day so I was disappointed that it did not hold up well.

These bottles worked great for my son once he grew out of this stomach problems. These are great for a slightly gassy baby and super easy to clean. The valve helps to relieve some of the bubbles.

Bottle is great for babies who are transition from breast to bottle. But if you have a power sucker, the nipple is going to constantly collapse. I heard you have to flick the vent to pop it back up.

These worked the best for our supplemented baby from 2 weeks to two months. The size 1 nipple has a smaller hole and is more flexible than other brands we tried and didn't overwhelm our little sucker.

We had the worst time with thes not venting and the nipples inverting after using for about a week and sanitizing. We stopped using them entirely by week 2 because we had to keep stopping and venting.

Q: Best bottles to have! Going from breast to bottle can be frustrating. Love how natural these bottles are, and how easy it is to use them. The anti-colic valve is awesome, and our baby has no latch issues going back and forth. Worth the investment for a good bottle! 5*
