what parents are saying
aear must be taken off in order for stroller to fold down. Very heavy and the color black is unbearable in the summer. Good for multiples and 2 under 2 or if you are in a stores closeby town. (Nov 19, 2015)
The stadium seating on this stroller is a big hit with parents since it means when you add the second seat, no one will be blocked or seated “under” the other. Plus, since the seats aren’t side-by-side, it’s super easy to navigate narrow spaces (like grocery store aisles). The seats are also designed for multiple configurations (up to 16!) so you can arrange your kids in a way that works best for you. Parents also love that it offers a super smooth ride, even through grass and snow.
The Catch: It doesn’t fold when the second seat is in place (but the seat can be easily removed).
Arguably one of the better double options, and great for twins. But the functionality is lacking with kiddos of opposite ages as the seat positions become limited. Push is just okay, fold is huge

The seat configurations SEEM great but can be just awkward. Heavy. Have had this for 5 years and the brake has jammed since year 2. Awful in snow/sand. Prefer a friends that was 1/3 the price!

We use this as a single stroller now and it is great. Sturdy, comfortable for baby, great sunshade and storage, height adjustment for both parents, & looks great. It is large, but baby likes the room!

I do love how versatile this is. It's also super easy to maneuver which is a huge plus. I do wish there was a little bit more room for the two kiddos between each seat & room for the top to recline FF

This stroller is very heavy and cumbersome to use as your daily stroller. It also is very hard to fold if you are a petite person. There are better doubles out there to get if you are petite.

I like that I can tote up to 3 kids (add a glider board) in different positions, but if I walk any faster than a very leisurely stroll the wheels start to shake. Still it's great to take shopping!

I absolutely love this stroller. As we add children to the family ... the stroller continues to expand to accommodate. Only downside is that it can't be collapsed with a second seat attached.

I finally bit the bullet and purchased this we've used ita bit over the past month! This is seriously everything I'd hoped for and more! All the configurations are awesome and the basket is huge!

I bought it used and I love that everything can be put into the washer. It rides smoothly and is such a sturdy stroller. I love how big the canopies are. I do wish it would stand when folded.

I love this stroller. It works perfectly to transport my baby, toddler and preschooler. Mult. configurations, one hand steering, compact storage. Only complaint is all the a-la-carte accessories.

The stroller configurations did not work well for us. Can't use bassinet and second seat without older child uncomfortable. Fold is bulky and seats are large and get the seat dirty if you leave on.

I love this stroller. I use it as my every day stroller. It glides easily, there's a HUGE basket, and the baby can face you or out. It is rather heavy but I'm sure it needs to be to convert to double.

LOVE our City Select double stroller I cannot say enough great things about it. The versatility & convenience of removing and washing all of the fabric in addition to fitting in a travel bag.

This stroller is so easy to maneuver - I can do it easily with one hand! Currently using it with 1 kid, but love that we can just add on a seat when we have another! Con: a little on the heavier end.

This stroller is so easy to handle especially for a double but it's not much bigger than a single. Easy to fold, pretty light. Small problem, left brake broke after a month, the company sent a repair

This stroller is amazing! This was our second double stroller we purchased - we like this one so much better because the seats can be configured different ways. The basket storage is FANTASTIC!

Worth every penny! We were hesitant at first, but am SO glad we went this route with two kiddos. Moving the seats around is a breeze - putting the carseat on is so handy, and it steers so nicely!

I wanted to love this stroller, but with two seats, its a process to set up and put away. Not a stroller for traveling with as you have separate seats/stroller. With one seat, its not as bad!

I love this stroller. You can use it so many different ways. I also think it's easier to use indoors like at the mall and shopping than a side by side stroller. I'm really glad that we bought this.

Love the idea of this stroller, and the quality, but I have complaints: the fold can be hard to do on some models, and it's easy to pinch your fingers trying to lift it if the lock isn't closed. Heavy

I love this stroller. I use it with my Britax car seat. Wish I had bought it with my first. If a toddler is in the front seat it is hard to lift over curbs and bumps. Great customer service.

Love the configuration options w/2 seats! Unlike other double strollers, the second position of the second seat isn't tucked behind the top seat & can face outward. (Front) heavy, but manageable.

I have a love hate relationship with this stroller. Pros: The ability to add seats, gliding board, etc. it handles well and is not too heavy Cons: Hard to fold. You have to purchase accessories

Q: This is advertised as a jogging stroller? How is it with movement and stability with jogging while either one or two kids are riding? Trying to decide between a single or preparing ahead of time for a second child.
This is definitely NOT a jogging stroller! Baby Jogger is just the company name. I have both a double Bob and double City Select and I don't even like walking on sidewalks with the double City Select if I have the choice. The Bob is much much better in terms of agility, stability, traction and also weight distribution for running and brisk walking. The City Select a great mall and city stroller
This is absolutely not a jogging stroller. The City Select is a full size stroller- unsuitable for jogging. The wheels are not built for jogging. Once you put the 2nd seat in, it is even more impractical for jogging. While its made by the company brand called "Baby Jogger" - this stroller itself is a standard full size (non-jogging) stroller.
Per the Baby Jogger website this is not a jogging stroller. With that in mind, I have actually gone jogging with it (with one child). I only did a mile and it worked for me jogging in my neighborhood. It is a very heavy stroller (frame w/seat attached) to get in and out of the car. Other than that it is a dream to push and I love the large storage basket.
I clicked the answer button but it didn't take me to the question and
questions would not load.
Anyway, this is not a jogging stroller and is not advertised as such. The
brand is Baby Jogger, but it is just a brand. I am not aware of any jogging
strollers that convert from a single to a double. You basically have to buy
one or the other.
Since you can put the largest in the front most seat (facing front) AND you can face each seat away from each other (meaning one facing you and one facing out if needed) I think both kids will fit easily.
I'm not sure about how long it will take him to outgrow it, but I recommend trying the stroller with two kids in it before purchasing. You can try a friend's or you can try in store, but make sure to try with your oldest and maybe someone else's child??? I really did not like stroller as a double at all, and sold my stroller a couple months after having my second.
Depends on the child. I think for situations like the airport or outdoor events being able to strap them both in is a lifesaver. You can also raise the height of the canopy for more headroom. If your 2 year old is still used to and using a stroller then yes. You can use both seats for another year if it suits you and then switch to a glider board. Best thing about this stroller is its adaptability
I had two boys 3 years apart. My first had pretty average stats, and he outgrew the stroller at about 5.5 years old (45lbs and about 46"). Technically he still fit size wise, but the max weight of each seat is 45lbs. As an infant, I used the infant car seat attachment up top & my big kid in a seat in front. Once the baby could sit up I put him up front facing me or facing out, and big kid up top.
My kids are 2 years apart and my daughter is very tall (98%) we put her in the front seat and my son in the back. She fit just find and bonus that she could get in and out on her own. After she turned 3, we started using the glider board instead of the second seat. It encourages her to walk. She still fits in the seat at almost 3.5.
You will be totally fine. My sometimes 4 year old will ride in this when he gets tired walking. I think its totally fine. I have 4 children still young enough to ride in this (ages 4 and under) and they all fit and love it.
I love this thing! We had an orbit before, and I love this so much more for half the price. I have used it with a newborn and 35lber and 2 35lb kids. I love that the two older ones can face each other to play and when the fight breaks out, I can make them back to back (timeout lol). It manuevers easily in crowds and the basket is HUGE and easy to access!
I love this stroller! I've used it regularly with 2 older toddlers and it's super easy to maneuver. It handles better than our orbit did, and the seats are lightweight and the hood has two settings, so for bigger kids, you can make the hood higher to give them head room.
I have giant babies and the great thing about this stroller isthe adjustable click up shade, when your babe gets above 32" just snap off the shade and move it up to the next level. My 38" 20 month old fits perfectly in front or back.
