I'm a stay at home mama to a quirky and energetic 2 1/2 year old daughter, and we're expecting a son this April. Since we live in a small city, I primarily drive a minivan for day trips but we also do a lot of walking, so I love to find baby products and gear that are conducive to our lifestyle.
"My Ergo was a lifesaver from newborn to toddler. I never conquered the learning curve of a wrap carrier, so the simplicity of an Ergo was just what I needed. Fussy baby got snuggled + housework done!"
"I love this bag for its size, comfort, organization, nice built in changing pad, and appearance. My husband, however, found it annoying; he is much larger than I am and adjusting straps was a hassle."
"Saved the day when I was out one day and engorged but didn't have my electric pump or anywhere to use it if I had. Ran to store and got this, took care of my pain and made it possible to enjoy the day"
"Received this with insurance for my first baby and regretted not paying the difference for a dual pump. It worked fine for what it was, but I would leak from the other breast & it took twice as long. "
"My husband's friend who also had a newborn sent us this shortly after our daughter was born. We loved it! She napped well in it, it seemed comfortable and well structured, and it didn't take much room"
"These were essential for us with my daughter. She wore one every night as an infant, once she was no longer able to be swaddled. Kept her warm since she couldn't use a blanket, and seemed comfortable."
"This is very lightweight, which I love because I tend to move furniture around a lot. It looks nice in our nursery and holds a lot of diaper supplies. I used photo boxes and cute baskets for storage."
"We used two large hanging bags for cloth diaper laundry in lieu of a diaper pail. Kept scent contained, looked cute and very functional. I also kept a med sized bag in my diaper bag for used diapers."
"My in laws have a set of these at their house for my daughter to play with, and we also received them as a gift. They've been great toys for water play, stacking, and learning (color identification)."
"While the designs are undeniably cute and stylish, I've found the quality control isn't the greatest -- and that's a shame when you're paying higher prices. Dress & skirts hems rolling drives me nuts."
"I'm interested in this because it has a canopy to cover baby, which appears to be a great feature for people like us with cats and toddlers running around the house, jumping onto furniture and scattering small toys about."
