This sleepsack worked great for our son. Without it, he had a tough time getting to sleep due to his startle reflex. We stopped using it when he started to roll, but you can use with baby's arms free.

Best invention for newborns ever! The Velcro swaddle keeps baby snug and asleep for longer. And when baby’s awake you can leave their arms unswaddled for playtime. Perfect fabric thickness too.

Big and seemed bulky which made my baby lay at an awkward angle. It's great to have the arms wrapped in but felt like the legs were way too loose and that also caused my baby to startle awake.

These are great for infants that need a little more leg room, but still need their arms swaddled. The zipper at the bottom allows for easy nighttime diaper changes without undoing the swaddle!

Revising my previous review from neutral to love. Just got the muslin version of this swaddle for my son. It's incredible breathable and keeps him cool. We're loving it for warmer weather.
