  • I wish it came with a couple of different flanges instead of just the “standard size” the medela hand pump from the hospital cane with several and I loved itz Aug 27, 2019

  • It's a good simple breast pump that does the job. Not super fancy, basic with a speed and suction setting. Aug 06, 2019

  • This and all other Ameda pumps are simply awful. There is no comfortable suction setting. Do not buy. Jul 16, 2019

  • I got this breast pump free through my insurance. While It’s a good breast pump, my body didn’t respond well to it. Jun 28, 2019

  • Loved this pump. Was easy to clean and not super loud. Love you can adjust it for speed and intensity. Worked very well for the 9 weeks I exclusively pumped until we switched to formula. Apr 20, 2019

  • I really did not like this pump. It barely worked. I didn’t get nearly as much milk as I do with my new pump. Mar 20, 2019

  • This pump was not for me. It only came with one shield size, but I needed a different size for one side. It really didn't create a good letdown for me. Felt like didn't suck hard enough. Mar 08, 2019

  • This is a pretty good pump for the cost. One down side is the suctions is really good when I first start pumping but isn't really good after about 10 mins of pumping Feb 25, 2019

  • This pump was great at getting the milk out, but there were too many parts and I wish it had some sort of carrier for travel. Feb 20, 2019

Works great with one or two pumps attached so I can pump just on the side I just nursed to stimulate more breast milk. It has multiple speeds so I can start slow and build up as it kind of hurts. Jan 30, 2019

I was pumping about 40oz per day or more with hospital rental thought I’d try this to save money and I pumped barely anything worst pump ever Jan 19, 2019

  • This has been so much more effective & comfortable for me when compared to the Purely Yours. It's also noticeably quieter when you're pumping in a office suite. I'm still planning to get a Spectra. Nov 16, 2018

  • I did not like this pump when I first got it because it hurt. Even though it came with 3 different size flanges none were the right size for me. Once I ordered the areola stimulator it worked great! Nov 04, 2018

  • Stopped sucking out of one side when my newborn was 2 weeks old Oct 11, 2018

  • The ameda pump for me was nothing great. It was an okay pump, directly after birth I used the hospital grade pump. Medela is still my favorite and does/did the job right! Oct 09, 2018

  • Borrowed this from a friend when I forgot my pump parts at home one day. I loved the control this pump offers. I produced more milk with this than the medela instyle. Sep 04, 2018

  • Quite loud. The suction isn't very steady. Lots of weird parts to assemble. It works. Gets the milk out. But it is not my favorite. Aug 05, 2018

  • This pump is garbage. There's not enough control settings to help a brand new mom get her milk in. This is part of the reason I quit breastfeeding all together. Jul 18, 2018

  • I received this pump through my insurance company. I am overall happy eith it, but I have recently been having trouble getting it to turn on every time, and it has only been used for two months. Jul 18, 2018

  • I love this pump so much! I had the Medela pump in style with my first and it was not very good. This pump is simple, easy to clean, light weight, has a nice suction, and customizable to you! Jul 07, 2018

  • Did not like this product at all. Ended up getting a spectra. One side did not want to pump correctly I had to keep switching off each breast to get the same amount of pumping for each. May 30, 2018

I'm able to pump a consistent amount and find that it is small, quiet and easy to find the settings that work for me. The valves are fragile, but are recommended to be replaced fairly regularly. Apr 26, 2018

  • (what's this?)

Easy to use, the valves are extremely fragile and you cannot purchase them in store where I live so you always need back ups which was a problem. Ended up purchasing a Medela Freestyle. Apr 18, 2018

  • I liked that Medela and Dr brown bottles can be used. Small and light weight. Apr 10, 2018

  • This pump is okay nothing great to say nor anything bad. I do like that you can control the suction and the speed. Mar 11, 2018

This is a great pump. I loved that I could adjust speed as well as the suction. It did struggle with the suction setting because it seemed to increase really quickly which caused a bit of discomfort. Feb 23, 2018

I prefer this to medela free style.I wish it had time display on it and seperate controls for each breast as letdown times are not same. Feb 23, 2018

  • Easy to use and clean. Nothing wrong to say about that pump, it did the work. I never tried another one so I cant compare but I really like my Ameda pump so far. Feb 06, 2018

  • At first, before I knew how to use the settings I was constantly in pain using this. After help from a lactation consultant I was able to find the correct settings for me and now I don't dread it. Jan 25, 2018

It does it’s iob. I tried to use both of the pumps at the same time but one pump was pulling stronger than the other so I have to use one at a time Jan 23, 2018

  • I just received this today! I'm due in February 2018. I have never breastfed or pumped. So I'm excited to finally experience the bond. I hope this pump lives up to my expectations. Dec 30, 2017

Not the best pump, suction can be better. But i used it during Hurricane Irma and it helped me when i was engorged. Oct 20, 2017

  • (what's this?)

A good breast pump that's easy to clean. I like that it's got a battery option for portability. Its not overly quiet; pretty standard noise level. Oct 11, 2017

  • (what's this?)

Hello ladies. My review on the Ameda Finesse Breastpump. I received this pump as a participant of the WeeSpring parent Panel. It arrived at a good time because I was going to have to return the hospi Sep 21, 2017

This is my new favorite. It's the only one I can sync up with my daughter's sucking patterns. I love this pump. Needs bigger bottles for milk collection though. Sep 19, 2017

  • (what's this?)

I have been using this pump as my primary pump at work, and so happy to have it! I get more letdowns with this one then my other pump at home. SUPER QUIET! Sep 19, 2017

  • (what's this?)

I think this is a very well made, easy to use, lightweight pump with a closed system that would be great for some, but for me I didn't find that it had enough suction. Sep 19, 2017

  • (what's this?)

This pump is lightweight, and easy to use. It has good suction. I love that it is a closed system. The only downside is that I can't go to my local store and find replacement parts like I can with my Sep 19, 2017

I love this pump. It's comfortable, efficient, and easy to use. Cleaning is relatively easy. The only con for me is that the dial settings don't always seem to be consistent. Sep 19, 2017

  • (what's this?)

I've tried three pumps so far, and this one was by far the lightest. Made it much easier to pump on the go, especially with the battery options. Also, love the hygienikit system. Much cleaner. Sep 18, 2017

  • (what's this?)

The suction is stronger, lighter and quieter. I get two letdowns. easy to clean &travel. It's comfy and comparable to hospital grade. I wish it was more quieter & could store bottles in between pumping Sep 18, 2017

  • (what's this?)

The motor is compact but it is strong. There are dials instead of numbers, so you can adjust as little or as much as you want for both speed and suction. And the travel option is a great addition. Sep 17, 2017

  • (what's this?)

Love this pump! I received multiple letdowns in a shorter amount of time. It's not ideal for pumping on the road but that could easily be solved with a pumping bra that holds the flanges in place. Sep 16, 2017

  • (what's this?)

I love this pump. I like how light and small it is, and I have to say it performs very well. Pumping exclusively is lots of work, but this pump makes it so much easier. Sep 16, 2017

I had to buy a flange from a 3rd party vendor to get the most efficient letdown, and it still is not as good as my Medela. But it is a quiet pump and easy to use. Sep 15, 2017

Suction was terrible & not efficient, it was easy to use except knowing where you had the dials last time. Very customizable. Lots of good info came with pump, fairly quiet. Very lightweight. Sep 15, 2017
