The infant insert is a different material than the head support. You can adjust the harness by simply squeezing the device in the back- no rethread! The canopy could be better, sticks on with Velcro. (Sep 18, 2017)

Due to a car accident we had to buy our son a new seat he was about 5 months so still to young for a convertible but already pretty big, we had a snugride 35 prior and when we replaced it with the 40 that extra space has mad all. The difference well worth the money and the base is amazing May 23, 2017
