  • My daughter loves playing with this and even my older nieces and nephews do too Mar 28, 2021

  • I was surprised how much my son loves this toy. Is is 3 and he still takes it out and uses it often. Mar 25, 2021

  • My daughter loved to bang around on this, put the pegs in her mouth, roll them around. Mar 22, 2021

  • Good quality. My son just likes pushes the pegs out with his hands but we work in learning colors. Feb 26, 2021

  • Fun toy for kids. We have used this for matching colors as well. Also very sturdy and made of wood. Feb 03, 2021

  • This is well made and a cute toy. My 2 year old loves this. Jan 03, 2021

  • I usually love Melissa and Doug toys but this one fell apart within a couple of weeks. Splintered wood plus a baby isn’t a great combo. Aug 30, 2020

  • Not as good of quality as the versions from years ago, as orgs can easily push through, but still sturdy and helps develop good fine motor and visual perceptual skills Aug 02, 2020

  • LORDY! This toy is a lifesaver! We are foster parents and this toy helps to get those frustration feelings out. We so appreciate the quality of Melissa and Doug toys, and this one does not disappoint! May 13, 2020

  • Loved this for my little kits. Great for practice with their aim and hand eye coordination. Apr 25, 2020

  • Great for hand/eye coordination. Didn't keep my kids engaged for very long, but they still enjoyed using it. Feb 11, 2020

  • Heavy and harmful if the whole item falls on the toddler's foot. The pegs dont go all the way through so my toddler gets frustrated and pushes it out with hands. Jan 08, 2020

Mallet is very heavy and baby likes to swing, not a good combination! Oct 30, 2019

  • The pegs were too hard for my toddler to hit down so she quit playing with it and started doing other things with the hammer, then lost the hammer. The concept is cool but it just collects dust. Oct 10, 2019

Such a great fine motor skill toy! My kids love hammering away. Seems like it will last generations too! Sep 20, 2019

We got this as a gift, our son is indifferent to it. Aug 23, 2019
