Why weeLove Milk Stork:
You’re committed to your job and committed to breastfeeding. But the intersection of both can cause extra stress during business trips. When work travel pops up, don’t let breastfeeding logistics get you down. Milk Stork, a new breast milk delivery service provides refrigerated, overnight milk shipping to your baby at home. No more pumping and dumping, dealing with confusing milk storage transit guidelines, or going overboard to create a super supply before you hit the road.
Here’s how it works: When you’re out of town, pump a day’s worth of milk and store it in the hotel mini-fridge. The next morning, activate the cooling unit in your Milk Stork box. An hour later, pack up to 34 ounces of refrigerated milk in the provided breast milk bags and drop the sealed box off at the front desk (just be sure to confirm the USPS pickup schedule with the hotel). Your baby will receive a special delivery the next day.
Heads up: Milk Stork is on the pricy side. So ask if your company will cover the costs. Many family-friendly corporations will gladly consider it a business expense.
