Recovering from childbirth is serious business, and having a postpartum doula around at home in those early weeks can be a tremendous support for a new mom (and dad!). Postpartum doulas help parents adjust to life with a new baby, teaching hands-on newborn care, while also making sure that mom is getting the rest and healing time that she needs.
