Not sure but it has been a cure all for almost every skin ailment my kid has had and he's got sensitive skin.

Agree with previous poster--I'm not sure how natural it is, but my daughter and I both have sensitive skin and it's been an absolute lifesaver for our dry skin and her occasional diaper rash.

Its petroleum jelly...
yana K. - Mar 25, 2014
It's not natural, it contains petrolatum and mineral oil (also derived from petroleum). But, it gets great reviews for effectiveness, so it's a personal decision... http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/product/517843/Aquaphor_Advanced_Therapy%2C_Healing_Ointment/
Kate M. - Mar 25, 2014
it's not. The main ingredient is petroleum. We love the aden + anais mum+bub ointment instead - http://www.weespring.com/product/1909/Mum-+-Bub-Paw-Paw-Ointment
Amelia B. - Mar 25, 2014
You can get unpetroleum jelly from whole foods and other "natural foods" markets. It's the same consistency but much more natural and doesn't contain petroleum. Also, if you can find pawpaw ointment (you can get it online), it's the best. You can use it for everything and it's made from fermented papaya. It's amazing stuff.
