The Lincoln Logs Classic Edition Tin gives kids raw materials to help them develop their creativity and motor skills. Invented more than nine decades ago, these wooden building sets have a rich history of inspiring and entertaining children. The blocks are still made in the same manner as the early days, with real wood and a high-quality finish to keep the blocks in top shape for years to come. With more than 80 pieces, children ages three and up will enjoy building the multitude of structures they can create.

Durable Pieces Made in Classic Style

All of the pieces in this Classic Edition tin are crafted in the traditional Lincoln Logs style, with real wood and a high-grade finish. The all-wood logs are precision-cut for a smooth, splinter-free feel. They are treated with a stain that will preserve and extend the life of the wood, so this set will last for generations.

Since the logs are stained in a traditional manner, the dyes used can rub off. The building set should not be used on carpet or other absorbent surfaces, which might be stained by the coloring.

Numerous Pieces Inspire and Develop Young Minds

More than just fun, Lincoln Logs help young children learn. The blocks encourage fine motor skills, as children manipulate the pieces, and cognitive skills, as children learn to problem-solve. Children also gain practice in following instructions as they build the cabin laid out in the instruction manual, and they develop their creative side while they invent and build their own structures.

Lincoln Logs are a great toy for more than one child. Since the set comes with more than 80 pieces, kids can build a house together or divide the pieces and create neighboring homes. The versatile blocks are a great tool for collaboration.

Frontier-Era Set Captures a Different Time

The Classic Edition tin offers easy-to-follow instructions for a Frontier Cabin with a slanted roof and a chimney. The pieces stack to mimic the look of traditional log cabins from an earlier era, and the set comes with a high-quality, die-cast frontiersman. Children will love playing with their new structures even after they are built, as they imagine an era of log cabins and raccoon caps.

Lincoln Logs Feature a Rich History

Lincoln Logs were invented more than 90 years ago by John Lloyd Wright, son of famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Named after Abraham Lincoln, these blocks have offered a world of discovery to millions of children through the years. The rustic look of Lincoln Logs offers a nostalgic appeal of the era of log cabins and unexplored territory.
