This super lightweight, easy-to-set-up (just 15 seconds!) travel crib actually folds small enough to fit in the overhead compartment of an airplane, and it’s got backpack straps so you can tote it wherever you go. It converts to a rocking bassinet so perfect for at-home use from the earliest days, and it’s side-zip means it also can be used as a play area for an older toddler.

The Catch: Parents complained about the excessive amount of velcro tabs needed to secure the mattress.

  • Love how compact and lightweight this folds, plus that door on the side was much needed for our needy baby. Nov 13, 2017

  • So amazing! Folds up so small and light. I️ love the side door. The ability to nurse or sooth your baby to sleep. Nothing else like this. Love this product! Nov 11, 2017

  • Absolutely love it. It is super lightweight and easy to assemble. The fact that there is no weight limit is a huge bonus. Nov 07, 2017

We have owned this Travel Crib and the Baby Bjorn Travel Crib. By far this is our favorite. Its super compact and could be used as a carry on if you're traveling via airplane. Super Quick Setup! Nov 07, 2017

SUPER light and easy to set up. May not last as long if you have a large/tall child (our just-turned-2-year-old can no longer fit) since it's not as long as a standard PNP Nov 05, 2017

  • The crib is easy to setup and pack up, wearable as a backpack and fits as a carry on on the airplane. My only dislike is the thin mattress is semi suspended and doesn’t seem to lie completely flat. Nov 01, 2017

I LOVE this travel crib. 11 lbs. Fits in my large suitcase or has backback straps if I want to carry it on. Sits on the floor for a better night sleep than a pack in play. EASY setup. Oct 22, 2017

Easy to use, collapse, and travel with. My baby first slept through the night in this! Oct 20, 2017

  • No weight limit since the mattress sits on the floor, folds up very small! Oct 19, 2017

  • Perfect for traveling and my baby sleeps better in this than his bassinest! Oct 18, 2017

  • My kids love this playard. Easy to set up and pack away (with some practice). My 2 yr old slept comfortably in it when we were in a house with no crib. Get the bassinet accessory too!! Oct 09, 2017

I enjoyed the zip access that allowed the crib to become a "play tent", but I don't feel that this is worth the steep price tag. A far more inexpensive pack-n-play does the job just as well. Oct 08, 2017

  • Super lightweight, easy to set up and great carrying case backpack. I love that you can zip down the side and lay next to them if needed. Oct 05, 2017

  • We splurged and bought this for a trip to Costa Rica. It is much lighter and compact than your regular pack n play, was so easy to assemble and take down, and the mattress is so soft and plush. Sep 21, 2017

  • One of our best investments! Lightweight, airline carry-on approved and so easy to set up! The Lotus has accompanied us everywhere from a trip to Europe to a day at the beach! Sep 05, 2017

We bought the solar cover also - and my kids use this as a fort too! Durable, easy. Aug 16, 2017

  • So far I've only used the bassinet feature, but I *LOVE* it! It's really light and easy to maneuver and their customer service is amazing, I had an issue with the legs at first and they fixed it ASAP. Aug 10, 2017

Easy, easy to set up. and the carrier case is not too heavy! Aug 01, 2017

Everyone
  • Q: I would like to be able to move this between rooms and also between floors of the house. Will it fit through doorways? Thank you!

    asked by Nina D. - Mar 19, 2014

  • It might take some maneuvering. The good thing is it's really light, but the mattress takes a little time to Velcro to the base, which you wouldn't want to have to do often. I would suggest checking the measurements against your doors to be sure.

    Roslyn L. - Mar 19, 2014

  • Yes, absolutely. It folds in seconds and is very light weight!
