This super lightweight, easy-to-set-up (just 15 seconds!) travel crib actually folds small enough to fit in the overhead compartment of an airplane, and it’s got backpack straps so you can tote it wherever you go. It converts to a rocking bassinet so perfect for at-home use from the earliest days, and it’s side-zip means it also can be used as a play area for an older toddler.

The Catch: Parents complained about the excessive amount of velcro tabs needed to secure the mattress.

  • I can not say enough good things about this travel bed! We spent 3 weeks in Thailand with our four month old. The lotus was light weight and easy to transport! It takes less than a minute to put up. Oct 12, 2019

  • Looove this, have used many times, used till 4 month as bassinet. Only wish is that you could raise the height to mid high Oct 07, 2019

  • I recently had a small surgery and couldn’t lift my son for two weeks. This travel bed allowed my son to walk in and out of bed for naps and bedtime so that I could rest and heal. It was a life saver! Sep 30, 2019

Backpack strapping is convenient for travel, easy to set up. Haven't used front zipper but like feature for multipurpose use, lots of accessories available. Sep 20, 2019

  • It's light and easy and the backpack straps are the best. However, getting the velcro through all the little tabs can be a bit tedious. Sep 19, 2019

  • We have a small space and this has been perfect. We used the bassinet conversion kit when baby was born as well and loved how easy it is to breakdown and put back up! Sep 18, 2019

  • The bassinet kit was the perfect low-profile choice for baby when he was a newborn. The mattress was firm and yet comfy for baby. The regular travel crib is great to pop open in the living room. Sep 18, 2019

  • We had a different playard with our first and decided to splurge on this one to have a second crib for naps that could also travel with us (the other playard was over 30 pounds!). This is a great buy. Sep 17, 2019

  • I couldn’t believe how easy this was to set up! It’s going to be easy to move around (because it’s so light) and travel with. Not very padded but I’ve heard that’s on purpose for safety! Sep 14, 2019

  • A must have for travel! Way sleeker & lighter than my 2 pack n plays. So easy to put together. I traveled internationally with baby and this allowed me extra hands since it fit in my luggage. Sep 13, 2019

  • Love how light this is. I take this when I have a space issue and out other pack n play is too bulky and heavy. Also like that the carry bag has backpack straps to ease carrying. Sep 13, 2019

  • You can put this together in seconds! I have away my pack and play. The zippered side makes it easy to lay a sleeping baby or toddler right inside. The size fits perfectly in a suitcase for travel. Sep 04, 2019

Great for traveling and going to the grandparents house. Super lightweight and so easy to put up and take down. Very compact. Definitely the best on the market! Sep 04, 2019

Everyone
  • Q: I would like to be able to move this between rooms and also between floors of the house. Will it fit through doorways? Thank you!

    asked by Nina D. - Mar 19, 2014

  • It might take some maneuvering. The good thing is it's really light, but the mattress takes a little time to Velcro to the base, which you wouldn't want to have to do often. I would suggest checking the measurements against your doors to be sure.

    Roslyn L. - Mar 19, 2014

  • Yes, absolutely. It folds in seconds and is very light weight!
