Has some helpful concepts and overall a good philosophy about baby joining the family and needing to adjust to the family. I found the schedules stressful and found more success with reading baby cues Jun 01, 2022

This was a great book with lots of practical advice! I read it and was already to use it and then I had a preemie. Some of the advice was still very applicable. I’m glad I read it. May 31, 2021

  • Wish I would have read this book before our 1st! Finally read with our 3rd and it made a world of difference! I considered the points in the book and put to use what I felt would work for us. Feb 23, 2019

  • If you're expecting a baby or already have one, do yourself a favor and get this book. It's all about helping your baby to sleep and nap well and reliably, and who doesn't want that? Feb 06, 2019

  • This is a great book to use as a reference. In my opinion, it's boring, but super helpful. You need to be flexible with it though. Don't feel like you need to follow it exactly all the time. Jan 31, 2019

I like the idea of this book. I did not understand how to implement the strict schedule while in a sleep-deprived state. I use it now for reference and it's helpful but didn't help when I needed it. Jan 04, 2019

  • This book was very informational but easy to read. I think it will definitely help me to get my baby on a schedule quicker. Oct 15, 2018

  • I love the concepts taught in here. For me it was a great book for my first child. It doesn't apply as easily now that I have my 2nd and 3rd, but I still use many concepts with all 3 kids. Aug 11, 2018

This is a must have for parents that need/want a daily routine! I had to go back to work so it was so important my child got on a schedule & I got some sleep! My son was sleeping an avg of 7 hrs/night May 16, 2017

  • This book made me feel like a failure. It's so rigid and unforgiving. Many other sleep resources out there. Skip this one! Jan 31, 2017

The concept of parent directed feedings and helping kids recognize days vs nights WORKS, in my experience - "routines" with babies keep everyone happy and helps you enjoy motherhood :) Nov 16, 2016

  • Iam thankful a friend gave me this book when I was pregnant with my first child. This book has been very helpful with scheduling sleep/eat routines for our babies. Oct 05, 2016
