• Used this book as a guideline as far as what to expect and what my baby would be capable of in terms of a routine (not a strict schedule). Worked well for us with firstborn and using again. Oct 05, 2016

  • This didn't work for me. I had some parents swear by it. I also didn't like the kindle version I got, there are times when you want to flip back and forth and that was hard to do. Jul 22, 2016

  • Great practical advice. Lots of reviews of this book are misinformed so read it before making a decision about whether it's right for you! Jun 17, 2016

  • This book was not realistic and does not work with the baby's natural sleep cycle. We followed its advice for my months with my son and I've always regretted it. Feb 03, 2016

  • Yuck. I bought it at a thrift store (PLEASE look there first if you want one, they almost always have a copy or two). Dec 04, 2015

  • Makes you feel like you're doing everything wrong, had bad advice on breastfeeding. May 07, 2015

  • Best gift we got! Buy it and read it before you have your baby! Don't listen to the haters. This got our daughter sleeping through the night at 13 weeks. She's healthy and happy and so are we!! Dec 17, 2014

We sort of go off the schedules they have and kind of do what works best for us too. I have heard from people who have used this book that it worked for them to get their baby sleeping through night! Oct 30, 2014

  • Admittedly, I couldn't finish this book. The proposed schedule was just a bit too daunting for a first time parent whose little one isn't here yet... Sep 06, 2014

  • The routine was helpful and a lot of the tips were really great to help me adjust as my baby's needs changed. May 14, 2014

  • Don't use this book as an excuse to stop feeding your kid when he's hungry. Duh. It is helpful for getting your baby on a flexible schedule if that is your goal. Similar to Baby Whisperer. Mar 12, 2014

  • I found this method to be very helpful for establishing a routine the first few months! Feb 28, 2014

  • Did this w/4 babies - all slept thru night by 12 wks. If u follow 80% of the book your baby will likely sleep thru @ 12 wks. Decide if u r a schedule feeder vs demand. If schedule feeder - get it Feb 28, 2014

  • Really liked this book. I did pick and choose what to do with my son. Feb 02, 2014

  • This book is over the top. Routines are fine, but babies are humans, not robots. No Cry Sleep Solution is a MUCH better option. Jan 24, 2014

  • Helpful Jan 22, 2014

Fantastic, read it before baby was born. He started sleeping through the night at 2 months old. Jan 10, 2014

  • I know this is a controversial book, but I am on board with having a parent-led schedule. Haven't mastered it yet, but still trying! Jan 09, 2014

  • Helpful but again hard to swallow when your baby isn't exactly like the book says they will be. Dec 17, 2013

  • Great if you are a very scheduled couple. This method just isn't for us and our 3 month old is sleeping through the night now just fine without this strict of a routine. Nov 12, 2013

  • Didn't work for us. Nov 01, 2013

  • Great concepts to help exhausted new parents! There is no such thing as a "perfect" book because every baby is different but we used this as a guide and raised a very good sleeper :-) Oct 31, 2013

  • Not for me. Using a set schedule did not work for our family. Oct 25, 2013

    Ok book Oct 25, 2013

  • No fail...get your baby to sleep.... Oct 11, 2013

  • Terrible advice for most babies. Oct 06, 2013

  • I read this when my guy was 6 weeks and it turned our lives around! He got on the schedule very quickly and by 8 weeks was sleeping through the night 8+ hours without a peep! Jul 18, 2013

  • This is very rigid, so take it with a grain of salt Jun 26, 2013

  • This is the sleep training method we used and my baby was sleeping 8 hours through the night at 7 weeks! Jun 14, 2013
