  • A great shape sorter! My son got it as a gift for his first birthday and is just shy of 2 and learning how to use it more effectively Jan 24, 2024

  • I don't love this toy for toddlers. It is hard to get the pieces in causing my 2 year old to lose interest. Nov 14, 2023

  • We love shape sorters in our house and are usually fans of wooden toys. HOWEVER, the edges are very sharp/ hard and as a result we have had a few accidents and bruises with this one early on. Oct 27, 2023

  • Baby still isn’t quiet old enough to fully understand this toy yet but they love the blocks and exploring their different shapes. Sep 08, 2023

  • I love the wooden toys because they’re more durable and will last a lot longer. These are super cute and my baby has a great time with it. Mar 21, 2023

  • Everyone needs at least one shape sorting toy Mar 18, 2023

  • Great cube sorter. More difficult than the average one. Oct 24, 2022

  • My daughter loves this toy Sep 21, 2022

  • Great for teaching colors and shapes as well as motor skills. My kiddo is a fan. May 26, 2022

  • Great quality. Love that it’s all wood. Our LO is still in a big chewing on things phase so she likes to chew on these and the paint DOES come off Mar 30, 2022

  • Classic learning toy for shapes and colors. Love Melissa and Doug products! And I love that it is wooden and feels high quality for a low price. Feb 03, 2022

  • My daughter is showing interest now she’s 18 months old. When trying to get the shapes into the box l, the colours rub off onto the wood, which I hate because it makes it look like she wrote on Jan 18, 2022

  • Such a great toy to learn shapes and develop skills Nov 03, 2021

  • I was hoping for a little better quality on the cube. The blocks are okay. I like it a little better than plastic versions but the lid slides off easily and you have to turn it to use all the shapes Oct 27, 2021

  • This is a classic! Great for teaching colors and shapes with the little ones Sep 10, 2021

We got 2 of these as gifts, and both splinter and break really easily and the paint comes off. The plastic ones are better, since they love to put these in their mouth and just bite paint and wood off Jun 28, 2021

  • Wish the lid could lock in place--my toddler often just opens it up instead of finding the right slot. Some of the shapes are confusing, ex. the square & rectangle--have to use just the right side. May 29, 2021

  • My son has this but doesn’t really play with it. I love the simplicity and wood aspect of it. Still a great learning toy Apr 12, 2021

  • Wish the top could lock on some how Apr 09, 2021

  • Our daughter loved this sorting cube and would play with it for long periods of time. Well made and easy to clean. Feb 26, 2021

  • This is the best sort of toy! You can play in any way: sorting colors, stacking, putting the shapes in the corresponding holes, etc. I love that it is all wood and durable too. Feb 24, 2021

  • I really love wooden toys, and this is a great one for a young age. Bonus color sorting! Feb 04, 2021

My son loves this!! He tells me the color and is currently working on his shapes. This has helped him tremendously. Jan 03, 2021

  • My daughter got this for her 1st birthday, but didn't really show an interest in it until she was closer to 2. She probably caught on to putting the shapes in the right hole close to 2 1/2. Nov 29, 2020

  • This toy is well constructed but there is one of each shape which is very challenging, the whole thing must be turned around to find the right holes, even frustrating for an adult to do Oct 28, 2020

  • Great learning toy! Sep 25, 2020

  • Love that this one is wood and a little more difficult than some other shape sorters. Jul 30, 2020

  • My kid loves playing with this . A good way for kids to learn sorting , shapes , colors . Develops kids brain and keeps them occupied for a very long time May 14, 2020

  • A first my 18mth old was frustrated and would throw the shapes- didn’t understand the sides had slots too, now she’s mastering it on her own after a few weeks of play Apr 20, 2020

  • My brother gave me this for my 2 yr old and all though he is small he gets how to use it. I sit with him to play it and he gets the concept even if he has a little trouble. He is learning his shapes. Mar 31, 2020

  • One of our favorites - can be used so many different ways! Mar 11, 2020
