We took this everywhere. It folds up into the size of a paper towel roll so you can easily throw it in your diaper bag. When my kids got older and didn't need it for eating I used for craft projects Apr 19, 2021

Unfortunately this travel placemat doesn’t stick to tables, which makes it perfect for little hands to pull and throw it. The designs on the top also make it VERY difficult to clean. Mar 31, 2020

Love to bring it to restaurants. It covers large area and easy to fold and store. Jul 08, 2019

We tried to used this mat for on the go. It doesn’t stay rolled up so it’s hard to store it in the diaper bag. It also won’t stay flat so it doesn’t stick to the table. I was very disappointed. Apr 20, 2019

I put this in the bag with my travel high chair - great for on the go and at restaurants! Apr 08, 2019

Good idea, but the placemat would not stay in place. The placemat rolls up conveniently for transport, yet because of this design, also rolls on on the dining table. Did not use much. Nov 13, 2018

Most restaurants have wooden tables so this didn’t really stick and also was curled up on the edges. Nov 09, 2018
great mat that sticks to tables, harder for baby to pull off. sometimes the catch tray gets in the way, but sticks a ton better than other reusable placemats Aug 16, 2018

TheTiny Diner placemat was the perfect transition for our babies. Allowed us to eat out without having to worry about a tossed plate. However, be aware, it does not stick to all table surfaces. Apr 10, 2018

Used it to keep the high chair tray clean during breakfast & lunch and could toss in the dishwasher without cleaning the whole high chair! Also great at restaurants! Jul 12, 2017

I loved this with my first 2 children, but there wasn't much competition as far as silicone mats at the time. I think I will look for one that will stay put better for my newest baby. Jun 02, 2017

Super easy and tempting for baby to pull up. Good concept but just doesn't work. May 15, 2017

Love this mat for eating out. Rolls up nicely to get tucked away in the diaper bag, easy to clean and adheres to the surfaces well. Recommend this. May 09, 2017

This doesn't stick well to every surface while eating out. I found the throw away placemats to work much better. Apr 15, 2017

Like the idea but it was folded when we purchased it and 6 months later it still hasn't unfolded all the way so it doesn't stay flat on the table. Jan 02, 2017

We used the boy version for DS and this is great! Easy to keep plates on the table with this rubbery mat which can be washed and sanitized easily. Suctions cups are ideal for keeping mat in place. Dec 09, 2016

works great when traveling. I want to use ours more, I just forget to bring it. It is nice peace of mind when dining out that my child's food is clean and they can eat off the table. Rolls up too! Nov 16, 2016

It seemed like a perfect fit for going out to eat but I could never get it to stick to tables. It would always roll back up on the sides and just became one more thing my kid would try to throw. Jul 20, 2016

Got this as a hand me down. Meh, not impressed. The bibs with the little pockets do a better job at catching runaway food than this thing. It's also super easy to pull up, defeating the purpose. Jul 01, 2016

Kept messes off the table, but it was a pain to wash in the sink because of the awkward size. The trough is a good idea - keeps food from dropping on the floor in the space between the table and chair Apr 19, 2016

Love this. I did search to find an older one though because I heard the newer ones are not as easy to roll up and don't suction to the table as well. I have not had any problems with it! Feb 09, 2016

Great if it can stick to the table that you're sitting at. Make sure all of the suction cups are attached. Love that it folds up into itself and provides a clean eating surface for the toddler Jul 15, 2015

we use this at home & it's awesome! everything it catches in round 1 gets eaten as a 2nd course! we rarely bring it out with us tho, if it doesn't stick perfectly to the table, it becomes a plaything Sep 24, 2014

I've blogged about this several times I love it so much! great for going out to restaurants so that you can spread his food out for him without worrying about the cleanliness of the table. Mar 14, 2014

We have a high chair that clips onto our counter top and leaves a gap before the front of it. This is a life saver for the baby who wants to pull the Cheerios on the floor for the dog! Washes well. Mar 06, 2014

A good plan until your toddler learns how to lift it up and throw food everywhere. In the end, we used the disposable place mats a lot. Mar 06, 2014

My daughter pulls the catch part up to chew on it, loosening the suction cups. Still easy to clean and catches a lot, which is especially nice when out for less mess, but I wish it would stay down. Jan 31, 2014
