These are worlds better than those plastic hook things that hurt like hell to use. These you don't see, and they have a manual unlock mode, for when you want regular access to the pantry. They do take a little while to install. (Feb 28, 2013)

This product does not work at all. We double-checked installation directions and it's properly installed. The magnets don't catch through the cabinets. Oct 02, 2016

I like these because they are unseen on your cabinets and do hold. Cons: must be screwed in, the adhesive was disappointing, and be sure you keep track of the key, otherwise you are stuck, and third, make sure you mark somehow where the lock is! Mar 13, 2013
