Perfect for the newborn stage! Aug 30, 2018

  • It worked good when I got it figured out. Was just hard to get used to. Aug 11, 2018

  • To hard to put. Aug 04, 2018

  • The fabric quality is very good. It’s not a jersey type of material but a very sturdy almost canvas material. Because it’s sturdy it’s a bit less comfortable, but it needs to be sturdy to give support Jul 03, 2018

  • I wouln't use this for my everyday carrier, but it works as a back-up to keep in the trunk. Saved me when I had a toddler and a baby bump, as I could use it far into pregnancy, unlike other carriers Jul 02, 2018

  • It worked great with my first baby, but after trying a baby wrap I never went back to a sling with my second. The sling is easy to put on, but doesn’t feel as comfortable or secure as a wrap. May 14, 2018

  • Loved this with my middle child, she lived in it. Even as a toddler we can both use it comfortably. It has a few drawbacks, but I still have it because it is amazing for nursing in public discreetly!! May 01, 2018

  • This was my husbands go to when they were teeny tiny. I really like it to support them sitting on the hip! Mar 04, 2018

  • It wasn’t as comfortable as my other carriers, and didn’t feel as supportive. I prefer my Sakura Bloom ring sling to this one. Feb 15, 2018

  • Awesome for newborn stage. Easy to nurse in. Quick in & out. Great for short amounts of time once baby is a toddler (heavier) too! Feb 12, 2018

Great for quick trips into a store. I love the big pocket on the tail of the wrap. Dec 01, 2017

  • I tried using this wrap when my son was a newborn and it was very difficult to use Nov 30, 2017

  • Worth it just for the pocket! Nov 14, 2017

  • I have tried 5 different carriers and this is the favorite for being hands free. My 7 week old falls asleep immediately each time he's put in it. When he wakes he stays alert and just as happy! Oct 26, 2017

  • So easy to use, it's super comfortable and it spreads the weight evenly across your shoulder and back. Oct 24, 2017

  • This is the best for wearing a kid in hot weather. I found it breathable and the padded shoulder makes it comfortable for even carrying a toddler on your hip. I'm excited to use it with a newborn! Oct 24, 2017

  • Love the ease of putting this on and getting my kids positioned in this. The different positions I could do with it Oct 07, 2017

  • I love using this to gain an extra hand. Can be challenging to use initially, but once you get used to it, it's a breeze. Oct 06, 2017

  • A ring sling is great for quick up and down. I love the quality of the Maya ringsling and the little pocket on the end! Oct 05, 2017

  • This was my first ring sling. It's comfy and easy to adjust. It's hard to figure out at first, but great for quick in and out once you figure it out. Aug 24, 2017

  • My son hated this, he would not stay in it with and it was hard to use because I had to keep one hand on it so I couldn't do much. Aug 21, 2017

  • Like our maya wrap. I didn't have this until baby #2, but it is great to have to quick little ups when I don't want to tie the stretchy wrap. Aug 15, 2017

  • I love how easy the Maya is! I've always been able to adjust it to her size and age; newborn bundle to chest, then face front, and now she's on my hip. It's comfortable for us both! Jul 22, 2017

  • When I could get the right fit this it was great for a young baby. However, getting the right fit was so hit or miss. I never figured out the trick to it. It was either the greatest or the worst. Jun 20, 2017

  • I used a ring sling with my older children, and it was our primary carrier! Perfect to carry in the diaper bag and pull out when we were at the store, and strong enough to carry them! Apr 14, 2017

Everyone
  • Q: I have heard that you can breastfeed your baby while using this wrap. Is that true and is it easy to do or uncomfortable for the mother?

    asked by Celeste S. - Mar 23, 2014

  • True! Easy to do once you get the hang of adjusting the wrap. I found the wrap to be super comfortable, even while nursing, but the heavier your baby gets the more weight on one shoulder which can be sore. Make sure to switch it up by wearing the wrap over one and then the other shoulder. Check youtube for videos showing various ways to wear the wrap. Hope this helps!

    Elizabeth C. - Mar 23, 2014

  • I nurse it in frequently. It may take a few tries to really get the hang of it but it's a wonderful carrier for nursing.

    Laney K. - Mar 23, 2014

  • Sorry you're asking the wrong person - I had this wrap and HATED it. No matter how many times i tried it I couldn't figure it out, and eventually returned it.

    Kristin H. - Mar 24, 2014

  • I really enjoy this wrap, but I've never been able to comfortably breastfeed while my baby is in it. I watched videos, and tried a number of times, and while he was able to eat, it was not a nice latch and made for a lot of pain later.

    Roslyn L. - Mar 24, 2014

  • Sorry, I meant so also say that many friends and fellow baby-wearers have managed to, so it could be that I need more practice!
