  • I used my Maya Wrap quite a bit when my baby was lighter. Takes some practice to learn how to use it. Works great for shopping, but baby still gets heavy to carry after a while. Mar 15, 2017

  • My favorite carrier for a tiny baby. I used this with both kids - and it served me well while my baby was still a preemie. Gets harder to carry as they get heavier. But great for the littles! Mar 15, 2017

  • There is a learning curve to using slings. In my experience, the padded should becomes more a of a hassle than a help. I would buy a different brand at this same price point. Mar 11, 2017

  • So far so good. I just cross his legs and plop him in and he's content to see the world. He never fusses when I wear him in this way. 6months old and counting Feb 15, 2017

Once I go the hang of how to adjust and put it on, I fell in love with this sling. Its so easy to put my 14month (26lbs.)son in and out allowing him to run around when I want and keep him close too. Sep 20, 2016

  • I have it in a different color and I love it! Sep 12, 2016

  • Best baby purchase ever! Both kids used until they were almost two! Aug 25, 2016

  • I love the idea, but have neck issues and the pressure was too much! Jun 24, 2016

  • Really like my Maya Wrap. It's great for a newborn or tiny baby. Especially when you have older siblings. Jun 22, 2016

  • Wanted to like it but didn't use it as much as the Boba wrap. Nice for nursing support, especially when out and about. May 18, 2016

Great to throw in your bag! Not the best carrier for extended wear or for a heavier kid, but perfect for newborns and also for nursing on-the-go. May 14, 2016

  • Love this and is easy ! Mar 11, 2016

  • Great for really little babies! My daughter loved the swaddled feeling as a newborn, great as a nursing cover, easy to stash in diaper bag. The pocket great to throw phone, keys, wallet, etc. in. Mar 10, 2016

  • As far as ring slings go, it worked well when I borrowed a friends. I liked the length of the tail, but having to pull my shoulder under was really obnoxious if I wanted to use both arms. Jan 21, 2016

  • I LOVE ring slings for new babies, and Maya Wraps are my go-to. They're affordable, comfortable, and durable. Nov 28, 2015

This material is not elastic, so I ended up not using it that much. It sags and you have to tie it SO tight to stay up. I like the Boba wrap better. Sep 10, 2015

  • Love, love, love! Better than a non-adjustable sling. I feel safer carrying my little one. Aug 11, 2015

  • Love this for the newborn stage! Easy enough to adjust & can fit in the diaper bag. Jul 10, 2015

  • i dont like the padded sholder, it slids up and digs into my neck. Dec 01, 2014

  • Perfect for when my son decided at 5 months that he had to see what was going on. Very useful for running errands, chores around the house, going for walks, napping in new places. Nov 05, 2014

  • It's a good sling, I like my Sakura bloom better, but it's easy to use and comfortable. Nov 05, 2014

  • The only carrier my newborn was comfortable in, and she still likes it at 3 months. I find it more comfortable, cooler, and easier to get her in/out of than Ergo, although not as great for long walks. Oct 31, 2014

Everyone
  • Q: I have heard that you can breastfeed your baby while using this wrap. Is that true and is it easy to do or uncomfortable for the mother?

    asked by Celeste S. - Mar 23, 2014

  • True! Easy to do once you get the hang of adjusting the wrap. I found the wrap to be super comfortable, even while nursing, but the heavier your baby gets the more weight on one shoulder which can be sore. Make sure to switch it up by wearing the wrap over one and then the other shoulder. Check youtube for videos showing various ways to wear the wrap. Hope this helps!

    Elizabeth C. - Mar 23, 2014

  • I nurse it in frequently. It may take a few tries to really get the hang of it but it's a wonderful carrier for nursing.

    Laney K. - Mar 23, 2014

  • Sorry you're asking the wrong person - I had this wrap and HATED it. No matter how many times i tried it I couldn't figure it out, and eventually returned it.

    Kristin H. - Mar 24, 2014

  • I really enjoy this wrap, but I've never been able to comfortably breastfeed while my baby is in it. I watched videos, and tried a number of times, and while he was able to eat, it was not a nice latch and made for a lot of pain later.

    Roslyn L. - Mar 24, 2014

  • Sorry, I meant so also say that many friends and fellow baby-wearers have managed to, so it could be that I need more practice!
