Why weeLove Stitch Fix :

It happens to the best of us… that turning point in a pregnancy when regular clothes don’t zip, but you can’t deal with the dreaded experience of maternity shopping. It’s hard to justify expensive, designer purchases. And stylish, inexpensive pieces are basically an urban legend. So, you resort to leggings and the bag of hand-me-downs from your cousin whose body resembles yours in exactly zero ways.

Stitch Fix makes maternity shopping, dare we say, fun. This online service (for women pregnant or not) connects you to a personal stylist who creates an ever-changing wardrobe for your ever-changing body. Simply fill out a style profile and you’ll receive five clothing and accessory items (within your budget) on the date you choose for a $20 styling fee. That $20 will then be applied to anything you decide to keep. If you love your entire shipment, you’ll get 25% off the whole purchase.

No store. No fluorescent lights. No problem.

  • My most comfortable pair of pants are from this box, as well as a couple of my favorite shirts! I stopped the subscription because I didn’t feel it was as helpful for the styling aspect as I thought Feb 20, 2023

  • I’m indecisive when shopping so this takes the trouble out of the process. I don’t keep everything, but it’s fun to have your own personal shopper. I’ve enjoyed trying new things. Nov 07, 2022

  • Didn’t listen to my requests and preferences and quality of items I did keep wasn’t great. Aug 06, 2022

Tried this subscription, clothes were things I said I didn’t like. Ok to try to get me out of comfort zone, but second box was the same thing. Felt it missed the mark and disappointed i lost money Jul 01, 2022

  • In the beginning the clothes were spot on and extremely cute. As time went on though. I am finding myself sending more and more things back. May 02, 2022

  • Tried this for a few months and no matter how much guidance or feedback I gave, including sending a Pinterest board, they just could never get the selections “right” for me. I wish it worked out! Jan 17, 2022

  • Started this to get get maternity clothes. I love most selections sent to me and they made the process of returns/exchanges super easy. I wish they had some less expensive options so I could buy more Jan 08, 2022

  • My mother in law and I both used StitchFix. It’s so helpful especially if you don’t like to try items on in the store. And if you don’t like it, just send it back. Dec 26, 2021

  • Great for the busy mom who loves clothes but hates shopping! Dec 16, 2021

Never got my style right, sent tons of duplicates. Forgot to send back, now stuck with a waste of money and a bunch of clothes I will never wear. Ugh. Oct 14, 2021

  • Kids box was amazing (but expensive) but I didn't keep a single piece in the box for myself. Stylist didn't follow the requests for myself. Sep 08, 2021

I tried this and I really wanted to like this service but it wasn't for me. I tried to be as specific as possible for the style I wanted but it seemed they went the opposite. I sent everything back. Aug 24, 2021

  • Love stitch fix. It’s really good if you know your personal style or someone else’s so that you are able to put in your preferences. If you do, they are very good in picking out what you like. Aug 17, 2021

I wish it worked out for me. I had multiple sent to me and I got only one shirt out of it. I’m also a bargain shopper so paying more than full price for products kills me. Jul 06, 2021

  • I have done 3-4 stitch fixes and always found the items were so expensive. I have 3-4 shifts that I got while pregnant & one of them is already ripped (not on a seam)! It was $40 so I expected more. Jun 12, 2021

  • Not great, sent more back than I bought. Took multiple times of me telling them that I’m pregnant not xL size before they sent maternity clothes that I requested. Little over priced Jun 03, 2021

  • I asked for good maternity/postpartum options and not one thing was keepable. May 25, 2021
