We have 2. One broke unfortunately but it did work great before that happened. We love the expand ability May 10, 2024

  • They just don’t hold well and can break down very easily. Which is not good when you are trying to keep little ones contained. Dec 28, 2022

  • Classic baby gate. Hard to get right sometimes and I cannot do it with one hand. We use it when we have the doors open so baby doesn't bang on the screen. It serves the purpose but it is not cute. Apr 07, 2022

  • My kids have broken 2 of these. May be sufficient for a baby or toddler under 18 months. Jan 13, 2022

  • this gate is just impractical. save yourself the trouble and headache, spend a few dollars more to get the walk through gates Dec 12, 2021

  • Definitely not my preferred gate ones we switched to plastic ones. We went through a lot of the wooden ones due to them braking easily as well as always being pinched when trying to adjust the width. Dec 30, 2020

Works great for a while. A bit tricky to figure out. Falls apart after a while Dec 22, 2020

  • Worst gate ever. So hard to fit on any doorway or stairwell. Aug 21, 2020

  • Received this from a friend and seems okay, but not sure it will hold up Apr 23, 2020

  • This product is very difficult to use. The adjustments are not easy to use. We ended up buying another gate that was easy to install and use Jan 23, 2020

  • I had a difficult time getting this to stay in my doorway. It did not seem stable enough, so I returned it. Jan 13, 2020

  • Easy to use gate for a good price! We use this in our living to stop our son from crawling into the kitchen! He can stand up at it and rock back and forth and it doesn’t budge! Nov 28, 2019

  • worked well enough and adjustable length made it easy for us to move between rooms or two different set of stairs. Easy to pop open, we used market to show which notch to set it too each time. Sep 26, 2019

Broke within the first couple of days. Would work great if it was staying put but not durable enough to be put up and taken down all day. Jan 02, 2019

  • Cheaply made. Nov 03, 2018

  • We purchased several of these gates and they all broke within a month. Quality is poor, would not recommend. Aug 15, 2018

Not intuitive, hard to use. It's hard to adjust, and just as hard to open and close once adjusted. It only adjusts in specific increments, and therefore didn't fit the space we needed. Returned. Jul 20, 2018

  • We have one of these wooden gates and aren't completely impressed. They are great idea but are not as sturdy as I had hoped plus, you have to climb over them every time. I recommend walk through gates Jul 05, 2018

  • Absolutely unsafe for babies, but A+ at keeping my dogs out of places they don't belong (they respect the gate and don't TRY to knock it down.) Apr 05, 2018

  • I have two of these so far and they work great. They are inexpensive and can truly help keep your baby safe. Jan 31, 2018

  • We returned this product because it was flimsy and didn't stay in place. It's cheap, but there's a reason why ... it doesn't work well! Jan 23, 2018

  • We rarely used this gate because my daughter was able to knock it down easily. It was never a snug fit on staircase or doorway. Dec 24, 2017

  • cheap, sturdy, and simple. Gets the job done without being too complicated or bulky. Oct 20, 2017

it snapped on us! broken wood and all May 11, 2017

  • This baby gate is junk. It started falling apart after only using for a short amount of time. it is cheap in price and quality. Apr 05, 2017

  • So hard to out up or take down. Is pretty secure if you want to put it up and leave it up. Not good for high traffic areas Nov 26, 2016

  • I think they are hit and miss. I have had 5 overall with 2 breaking immediately! If they would be consistent I would love them! Oct 04, 2016

  • Great for areas you need closed off only sometimes. Difficult to get over but also not tall enough for older kids or climbers. Oct 04, 2016

  • It works great to keep my toddler off the stairs, but it is a pain to open and close. Mar 21, 2016

  • Can be hard to fit perfectly without it being a little loose. If baby is a climber, this can cause it to fall down. Feb 03, 2016

  • Easy to install, resistant and not expensive Feb 26, 2015
