  • The most sturdy & safe car seat available! Easy to wash the material, did not have a hard time adjusting the straps. Cons: very heavy & takes up a lot of space. Install & leave & you will love it! Jul 13, 2022

  • My oldest son likes this seat because it sits up so much higher than the Britax Boulevard. Because it sits higher it did not work rear-facing in my car as it created a big blindspot. Difficult to wash Jul 11, 2018

  • Unfortunately, while we liked this carseat, consumer reports rated it a 0 for failing its crash safety test, which I found out 2 years after purchase. Recaro replaced no problem with ProSport. Feb 25, 2018

    We have had the Recaro ProRIDE for almost four years now and it works great. Seems comfortable and my four year old can snap herself in now that she is old enough (always check after!) Install is hard Dec 15, 2017

    This car seat is very sturdy. The only issue you might run into it is a bit big so you might have a problem if you have a small car. But this car seat is very protective and great quality. Nov 08, 2017

  • I like latch to keep the seat belt locked when you can not use the latch system. I like the angle lo sits, easy to sleep in. Find it hard to get lo in without bumping head since seat sits high Jun 22, 2017

  • This car seat is durable and sturdy. We've had it in a sports car and SUV. Downside is that it is heavy and hard to clean (spot clean only). However, LATCH system makes it easy to install. Jan 17, 2017

  • We've been happy with this, but there was recent information about it not being as safe as it should be in accidents over 35mph when forward facing. We'll be replacing it when he turns around. Dec 06, 2016

  • Recaro Seats have had some controversy regarding children forward facing + over 30lbs. We loved this seat and will continue to use rear facing for our 17lb 1 year old and got our 3 yr old a new seat. May 04, 2017
