Everyone
  • Q: All of the M&D food toys seem to be for 3+, but I see them showing up on 1&2 year old wish lists. Are they safe under 3??

    asked by Sari L. - Oct 27, 2014

  • The pieces are large enough, but I'd be concerned if your child still puts items in his/her mouth since they are made of wood and the paint/velcro pieces could come off if chewed on. My 2 year old loved these.

  • What Stacey said. :) We have had these since my toddler was 1.5, but he's only now (at 3) started really using them as intended, to make sandwiches. I bought them early because I struggled to find good 1 to 2 year old toys that weren't plastic.
