Adorable Crane Cool Mist Humidifier provides additional comfort to cold symptoms, dry itchy skin, and chapped lips. The whisper quiet humidifier operates on a low power consumption providing up to 11 hours of moisture from a removable one gallon water tank. Includes an automatic shut off safety feature when water tank is empty.
Fun fact: newborns are nose breathers, so if they're stuffed up, they can't do what they do best... eat and sleep. Named the "adorable" humidifier for a reason, this little guy will help your little guy with his snacking and his snoozing, while staying super quiet.

We have the elephant. It is so cute and works fine but needs to be sanitized weekly and has way too many nooks and crannies and out of reach spots to do a thorough job. Looking for a replacement.

We have the Owl model. I love this humidifier, however I don't like the film it leaves on the product, and that you cannot fill it up from the top. Its a hassle to flip, unscrew and fill every night.

Hi Stacey, We are sorry you had a bad experience with our humidifier. All humidifiers operate with water. The best way to disinfect humidifiers is a few cap fulls of white vinegar to a half gallon of water. Then let it sit for 30 mins and rinse. Crane has great customer care! We have the owl and it is great! Easy set-up, operation and cleaning. The large tank allows us to keep it running over night and in the morning to help with colds and runny noses. Super cute too!

Love this humidifier. It produces a ton of moisture and although it did break, was able to replace right away. It works far better than the vicks ones I had previously bought. Completely recommend!

Since all humidifiers run on water, it is incredibly important to disinfect the tank once per week. A great natural way to clean is to add a few cap fulls of white vinegar and shake. My son has the crane train humidifier just like this one and so far I like it. I like that it doesn't use filters because i was going through so many when I used the Vicks starry night one.

I actually got this for myself when I was sick and pregnant! It worked great every night, but then started turning off randomly. Ended up with a different crane product and it has been great!

Funny timing - I used this humidifier for the past several years with my son no problem, sitting on his wood furniture our the wood floor. But tonight, the one I just bought for my daughter was leaking everywhere. I can see why this would be the rule if this generally happens. It soaked the rug it was sitting on and probbaly would have ruined the wood furniture if it was on it.
Ours is on top of a dresser. I do put a mat underneath it because condensation can form around it, but we haven't had a leak in a year+ of having it. The mist does settle on the surface so it can be a bit damp after running it for a while - I wipe down the dresser every morning and we haven't had any issues.
We keep ours on a tiny little Ikea side table so that we can easily move it around the room as needed. We haven't had any leaks, but I'd recommend a surface that's easy to wipe off bc it will drip sometimes when refilling/reassembling
Ours is on top of a Billy Bookshelf from IKEA. We haven't had any leaking in 2 1/2 years. We usually have it set about halfway, though when we've had it up to max, I can see how it would damage furniture over time. When we travel with it I put a towel under it to protect my mother's carpet, just in case. ;-)
I keep ours on a plastic serving tray so it can be moved from room to room and placed on any surface. I think just as long as you don't have it cranked all the way up (causing excess moisture to land on the surface it's sitting on), it should be fine.
