The Graco(R) SnugRide(R) is America's #1 infant car seat, and there are a number of excellent reasons for this! For starters, this car seat was rigorously designed and tested for safety, with EPS energy-absorbing foam and superior side-impact protection. (No wonder it's received top ratings by leading consumer groups!) Plus, it's easy to install correctly, thanks to a one-hand base adjustment dial, level indicator, and integrated belt lock-offs. Finally, it's compatible with most Graco strollers, so building your dream travel system is a snap. what parents are saying
Easy to install, clean and carry. gets a bit heavy as baby grows, hard to get baby in and out of quickly and effeciently (even with the new buckle" (Nov 20, 2014)
I had this when my son was little. It was easy to get in and out of the base, but the insert was useless. It did not support his little body at all. We ended up having to buy and after market one.

Sturdy workhorse of a car seat. Affordable with cute design. Easy to snap in/out. Little on the heavy side & uncomfortable handle for carrying. Wish it were easier to re-thread straps as baby grows.

This is the seat I tell every parent to get for the infant phase. Buy the stroller adapter for easy click-and-go when you need to run an errand and don't want to take baby in and out. -Chelsea D.

The seat itself is fine and worked while we had it with our first, but the materials are all super cheap and the designs are awful (and look cheap too). My daughter always got really sweaty in her seat. We had to replace this for our son since the first was in an accident and we went with a Chicco keyfit instead. Much happier.
