The Carrier without a base on this car seat installs easily & securely, making it great for taxis, rental cars, etc. It’s fits preemies well, and is a lightweight, compact seat. In addition, it’s a great value, as you get a versatile car seat + umbrella stroller travel system for less than $150! One downside is this car seat only snaps into its own stroller, though it can strap onto snap n’ gos or other strollers with universal adapters. Because the shell is short, it will likely be outgrown by 9-12 months, and the built-in locking device for the seat belt on the base can be hard to close. (Apr 10, 2014)
