what parents are saying
I like it and it holds in the smells until you open it to put in another diaper. It also sucks that you have to push in the diaper, which can sometimes lead to messes on your hands. (Jul 23, 2015)

The quintessential diaper pail, the Diaper Genie is tried and true. It has a foot pedal for hands-free diaper disposal and it’s small it doesn’t take up too much space in the nursery. It also keeps in the smell really well--one mom even admitted she accidently left diapers in it for “way too long” and never smelled a thing.
The Catch: It requires specific liner refills, which are costly.
