If you're looking for a glockenspiel you HAVE to buy this one. I read lots of reviews--this is one is properly tuned. Didn't think it would matter but it does. My LO can pound away and it sounds nice Nov 05, 2015

Other kids get a xylophone. YOUR KID GETS A GLOCKENSPIEL. The sound from this is not maddening-ish. The mallet tucks under the bottom so you don't lose it. Your kid feels cool smashing it at an early age. Everybody wins. Jan 22, 2014

It's a lovely little instrument, and as soon as my toddler figures out how to hold the mallet, I'm sure we'll hear some good music. Right now, it's just Mom and Dad who play it. :) Aug 04, 2015
