Parents don't vibrate like bouncy seats or swing like swings. They bounce and sway, and that's what the mamaRoo does: it moves like you do. Our team used motion sensors to measure the movements of reals moms and dads as they soothed their babies, and replicated those motions in the mamaRoo. It's the only infant seat with five different motions, all modeled after the natural movements parents make to comfort their babies. It isn't just another infant seat. It's our baby, and we made it for yours.
The mamaRoo plush is the same great mamaRoo with a softer, plush seat fabric that's even more comfortable for your baby. Just like the nylon, the plush seat is machine washable and easy to zip in and out of your mamaRoo, and the toy balls have reversible one-,two-, and three-eyed monster patterns.
?Five unique motions based on real parental movements
?Built-in nature sounds and an MP3 hookup
?Three reversible toy balls (original mamaRoo comes with art patterns; plush mamaRoo has monsters)
?Fabric (both plush and nylon) is easy to remove and machine washable
?Seat reclines to any position
?Detects obstructions, won't run if recline is unlocked
?Suitable from birth to 25 pounds
?Discontinue use once child can sit up unassisted
?Product weighs 14 pounds. LWH: 22.3" x 8.6" x 26.5"
?To be green, it doesn't run on batteries, just wall power
?6 month warranty
what parents are saying
This was a product must have for me. I am so glad I got it. My daughter slept in it so much, which made it easy for me to put her down when I needed to! (Mar 04, 2016)
A piece of gear that your baby will either love or hate, the Mamaroo is one item you might want to try before you buy. With its five different motion settings, this sleekly designed swing/bouncer has been some parents “saving grace.” and the only thing that will put their baby to sleep.
THE CATCH: Some parents note that the motion options aren’t “enough” to soothe. So if your baby doesn’t take to it, you might just have purchased an “overpriced” chair.
At first my kids hated this. They did better with the infant insert but still weren’t excited. Decent motion. Poor quality speakers. It does have a fairly small footprint. Expensive & hardly used it!

My baby only used this for a few months before she outgrew it. I don’t think she ever really liked it that much. I did use it, but I think if I had another baby I would try a different swing.

I absolutely love the idea of this swing but my second baby didn't love it. I'm looking forward to trying again with the third to hope it gets a little more use! It's genius and aesthetically pleasing

Some babies love it, some hate it. Thankfully, my little girl enjoyed this swing. Also thankfully, I got it at a consignment shop for a fraction of retail price. Too risky an item to pay full price!

The Mamaroo is a life saver for my newborn! She falls to sleep almost instantly. The 5 different motions and speeds make it a very versatile baby product. The only con of the Mamaroo is the price.

My baby enjoys this product. It soothes her & puts he to sleep 80% of the time. As a newborn we used the very similar rockaroo so I feel it got her accustomed to the seat style. It works well for us!

Was given this to use for my new baby. Love how easy the cover is to remove to clean. My baby is very calm when using it. Also with having 2 toddlers I like that they cannot swing this by pushing it.

This is great for my daughter when she’s fussy, easy to move, and simple to wash! I love the product but the infant insert isn’t included (you need it) and the ball mobile doesn’t move on its own.

My baby and friends babies I’ve watched have love this. I like the ability to raise the head, especially if the baby has recently eaten. I also like the different options for swaying the baby.

My daughter did not like this. We Used it on occasion but it was certainly not the magic sleep solution. It doesn't mimic human rocking. Only moves side to side. Definitely not worth the price.

I just got this and wow, I love it. Baby loves it, dad loves it. It has some really cool features! I can already tell the mobile will be an issue, and I’ve read it gets wonky because baby pulls on it

A little on the pricier side, but I find it worth the expense to have a sleek piece of baby furniture my child enjoys. I like the 5 motions to choose from as well as the sounds and speeds.

For the price I was hoping this would be my babies go to item... she likes it but does not LOVE it and will frequently get frustrated within the first 5-10 minutes even when the motion is changed.

We went back and forth with wanting this, but it is Scarlet’s all time favorite thing to do. We have it in the kitchen so she can hang out while we cook, we clean, and waiting for a 4am bottle!

Didn’t love or hate this. It has a large footprint, and didn’t soothe my daughter like the swing did. The mechanisms seemed jerky, too. But the variety of movements and sounds was very cool!

I love ours. But it was a gift. This item is so pricy that I’m not too sure we would’ve bought it ourselves. But it’s amazing and it has a lot of features. So if you can afford it you should get one
