what parents are saying
This "travel" crib sits flat on the ground - so no weight limit. The sloped sides make it more stable than cribs with straight sides. One side unzips, so a child can crawl in and out of it, and mom can lie down to feed a baby in it, then get out and leave the baby sleeping. Dad and other kids can get in this way, too. It's also longer than other portable cribs I looked at, which is important if you want to use it for a long time. I forgot that it is also so light (7 lbs) and packs smaller than similar ones I looked at (e.g. BabyBjorn or Lotus) (May 26, 2016)

We were able to pack this in our suitcase for a flight to California. It's light and packs compact, but still feels sturdy. Did what we needed it to do. Easy to assemble & take apart. Jan 14, 2023

We have used this travel crib extensively and we love it. It can be a bit of a pain to get the mattress attached properly. Also have the basinette attachment, it's great. Love how light it all is! Mar 29, 2022

A real lifesaver for parents who travel a lot! It’s great to always have baby’s bed with us no matter where we land, we don’t have to worry if the hotel has a crib available. Fits in our suitcase! Aug 29, 2019

Great travel bed. It can fit in a large suitcase and is very lightweight. Because it is so lightweight it could be tipped over by a toddler, so best for under 1 yr. It’s annoying to put together. Aug 25, 2019

Your baby will be sound asleep before you get this crib constructed. We love many of Phil & Teds products but their travel cribs fall short compared to Guava/Bjorn. Dont make your trip stressful. Jul 17, 2019

Great travel crib - easy to set up with practice (like a tent). So convenient for travel - you can carry it on a plane! Our baby slept in it for weeks at a time when we were travelling! Jun 04, 2019

This may be our favorite item for parents who travel. It fits as carry on and was a lifesaver when stuck in an airport for hours, made travel easy by giving our baby through toddler a familiar bed. Jan 22, 2019

It's very lightweight and fairly easy to put together. It's probably not that cozy for baby (thin mattress), but does the trick on the go. Jul 03, 2018

Light, easy to set up and best of all - baby loved it. The side opens so baby can go in and out and get used to it quickly. Sleeps so much better in this than my pack and play. Fits in a suitcase too! Jan 14, 2018

It falls over! Fine if your baby is too young to stand and push on the sides, but our toddler knocked it over easily the second time we used it. Lightweight and easy to use, really wanted to like this Nov 12, 2017

The legs are nearly impossible to snap in and out, making it really difficult to disassemble and reassemble. Even though the Graco pack & play is much heavier, it's far easier to set up. Aug 10, 2016

Got one off of craigslist for a very good discount; baby girl has only used it a couple of times, but slept overnight and naps in it - it only packs up to 7 lbs which is great. Sep 20, 2013
Great for travel, camping, grandmas. Light and small. Takes a little longer to set up than the Babybjorn but it's smaller when packed up. And cheaper! Jul 26, 2013
There is no other traveller crib for a NYC parent, as far as I am concerned. It's actually PORTABLE! As in, take it with you on the plane and never worry that you'll need a crib! And it's the longest one out there so my son fit till he was TWO! May 01, 2013
