  • Q: Our 1 year old has started standing up and gnawing on the side of this pack and play with her sharp new teeth. Anybody have a great trick for keeping their kids from gnawing on cribs or pack and plays like this?

  • When it comes to keeping him from completely gnawing on it, use lots of re-direction and eventually he will start to understand "Hey, I probably shouldn't eat that.". If you're looking for an alternative to him breaking a tooth off, I would recommend the Prince Lionheart Crib Rail Protector. They are gummy like, so it won't ruin your baby's teeth, if he does happen to decide to snack on his bed.

  • There are some good crib railings available if he's doing this for the crib, but i'm not aware of something similar for the pack n play. They may be experiencing a lot of teething pain, so you can try cool or frozen washcloths, teething toys, or other teething remedies to help.

  • My daughter also "taste tested" this pack and play! She only did it a few times and I guess it didn't give her the feedback she was looking for to help with her sore gums, (or it didn't taste very good) and she stopped. I agree with the suggestion of redirecting to teething toys.
