Leave it to the Australians to really know their stuff when it comes to sunscreen. Blue Lizard is 100% chemical-, paraben-, and fragrance-free, and offers broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. This particular formula isn’t water resistant, though, so if you have a water baby, slather on Blue Lizard Sport instead, which offers protection up to 240 minutes in the water.

  • If you aren't searching the EWG guide for sunscreen safety, you should. http://www.ewg.org/2013sunscreen/ Blue Lizard is one of the top picks for a great non-chemical sunscreen. It works great. Definitely goes on thick, but the whiteness gets absorbed pretty quickly and the greasiness goes away within 10 minutes. Even though it's a gimmick, I love that the bottle turns color in UV light. It's a good reminder that it's time to put it on! Jun 10, 2013
