Love having the extra bases for our Chicco KeyFit30! Helps a ton when grandma takes the baby! So easy to use with and without latch! (Jan 31, 2016)
We received one with our car seat stroller set and purchased 3 more for husbands car and each grandparents house. Super easy to install and feels very secure. I feel safe using this with my baby.

This base installs quickly, the seat snaps into it without issue each time. One of the extras I like is that it has a built on lock off, some of us still drive really old cars who’s belts don’t lock.

Ok, I feel there is room for installation error as someone may not be able to get the base as tight as they need to easily. You have to put your weight into the base and pull the strap tight.

I have never had the Keyfit 30 base “jam” or “stick”. It’s a pretty standard car seat base, but like all other American car seat bases, it shifts no matter how tight the seat belt is. Isofix please!

Do yourself a favor and get an extra base for your husband's, wife's, grandparent's, or even caretaker's car. Makes it beyond easy to transfer the carseat wherever it is needed. Carseat just snaps in!

Needed if you're a 2+ car family with shared turns driving baby around. We were able to avoid having to get a second car seat. Also nice to install for anyone else who drives baby often (g'parents)
