  • My little ate these every chance he had. I will say they were hard to find. Sprouts was the only place locally that carried them, but I could only find them for a couple of months. Aug 26, 2023

  • So many flavor options Mar 23, 2021

  • We tried the potato kale one. I like the ingredients and how easy it is to make. My baby isnt too big on green veggies at the moment though so even with the other flavors she didnt really eat it lol. Mar 20, 2020

  • My son enjoyed the tropical mango. He ate it right up. It smelled amazing too. I thought it was a little too runny even with 1/4 cup. The second batch I added less water and it was better that way. Mar 20, 2020

  • I love the minimal ingredients list and how easy it is to make but the flavor is lacking. It tastes like cardboard even after I heavily seasoned it. Mar 20, 2020

  • Babe gobbles it up. Great quality and texture. Great for home but harder to prepare on the go. Mar 20, 2020

  • These are easy to use, include simple wholesome ingredients, and my baby likes them. A nice change from pouches and a great shelf life. Mar 20, 2020

  • Love that it is organic, non gmo, and has only 4 ingredients, but my 8 month old son did not like the texture of the potato kale mash. Mar 20, 2020

  • Love the exotic maqui berry flavor, has more antioxidants than the more common acai berry and turns the baby food a fun berry color! Mar 20, 2020

  • Meat is usually easy enough to cut up but I have trouble finding starches and vegetables for my little one to eat. The potato and kale mash mix was super easy to use and my little one loved it. Mar 20, 2020

  • Convenient, and much like homemade baby food texture. My son didn't love the potato and kale mixture at 8 months. Mar 20, 2020

We felt extremely lucky to receive a free sample of Amara baby food from WeeSpring Parent Panel. When I first opened the package, I was surprised that the food was in a dried powdery form but still organic. I thought the packaging was great to throw in a diaper bag, and I even put a little away in an emergency kit for my little one. This product has a shelf life of 12-18 months! My 8-month-old little girl is still getting used to solids. I also try whatever I give her because I figure if I don’t like it, how will she? Amara was delicious and I think one of the only baby foods that I have tasted that taste exactly like what the ingredients say on the bag. This was refreshing! Unfortunately, my little girl did not like the texture of the baby food and I could not really get her to eat much of it. I was hoping this would change with some time but it didn’t. When you mix the pouches with water, the consistency can sometimes be a little chunkier then other pouches. I’m sure as my daughter gets older and experiences more consistencies in foods, she will love this product as much as I did. Until then I still think it is a great product to have on hand in case of an emergency. Mar 20, 2020

  • I loved how fresh the food smelled. My son didn't like the potato and kale as much as he did the other two flavors. Mar 20, 2020

  • We tried the mango and my son liked it. Easy to make and good to take with you when traveling. Only con is it is pricey and they only sell online for now Mar 20, 2020

  • I was surprised to have baby food in a powder form, I have to say it tastes way better! My daughter loved it and ate it right away. The other baby foods she just kept spitting out.Very quick and easy Mar 20, 2020

  • I received this product through the weeSpring parent panel in exchange for my honest review. I have 11 month old twins and they loved this oat & berries meal. Mar 20, 2020

  • I was given this product to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I love that the ingredients are simple, organic, and non-gmo! Prep is quick and easy and baby enjoyed the taste. Mar 20, 2020

  • My baby liked the texture and flavor of of Amara organic baby food in tropical mango. Making our own baby food is too hard, but this gives the quality of homemade food and it’s easy to prepare! Mar 20, 2020

  • Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Baby Food! I have tried the Maqui Berry flavor applesauce and was super excited to try the potato kale mash! I loves this flavor! Mar 20, 2020

  • Yummy, delicious, super easy to prepare. Mar 20, 2020

  • Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with the Amara-Potato Kale Mash and Ancient Grain Cereal Baby Food. For starters, the baby food smells delicious. The quality and freshness are amazing. I always wanted to be able to give my twins homemade baby food, but time is always an issue. With Amara’s baby food, meals have gotten much easier. I don’t have to spend valuable time making baby food and with Amara, it can provide the homemade taste. I really like the fact that Amara Baby food products are non-GMO. It is super important for me not to give my boys baby food with genetically modified ingredients. Not only are the baby food made loaded with textures and quality ingredients, it will help make an easy transition to solid foods. The packets are easy to open, and preparation only takes a few minutes with adding water or formula. My boys aren’t too much of a fan, when it comes to eating veggies, but the Potato Kale Mash is an absolute winner. The boys also enjoyed the Ancient Grain Cereal that included strawberry and mango pieces for sweetness. I will be sure to purchase Amara Baby Food, to be included as part of my boys’ daily meals. • Really liked these for infant led weaning. We used them to mix into yogurt for added nutrition Mar 20, 2020

  • It's very important to me to feed our baby organic and non-gmo baby food, but unlike with her older brother (who was the only child), I don't always have the time to make everything myself. Especially on nights the rest of the family is having take-out (and I can't just blend up some of our food for her), I find myself grabbing for a pouch. We'd previously used regular shelf-stable pouches, but I was intrigued by the Amara Organic Baby Food. Amara's dehydration process (as opposed to the high heat of other pouches) is meant to maintain nutrient levels, flavor, and texture. I think it's also nice that to rehydrate it, you can use breastmilk or formula for an added nutrient boost. We tried the Corn, Peas, & Carrots, and I was pleased to see it contains 1 mg of iron, which is particularly important for my breastfed baby who needs the extra iron. When I initially opened the pouch, I was a bit skeptical, since the powdered food was very reminiscent of the "dust" on the top of ramen noodles. However, mixed with a little chicken broth and blended chicken (I usually add a home cooked meat on top to make a full “meal”), the texture and smell were both very pleasing. It was a very quick preparation time, as opposed to steaming and blending the vegetables separately, and the food evenly rehydrated without lumps. I could see us bringing the packet out to a restaurant to use. The Amara food was also a big hit with my little one. Even with all these positives, I must confess that the powdered state of the food, even though it is meant to be more nutrient rich, is still a turn off. By it's very nature, it instinctively feels more rather than less processed. I think I would be more on board if it were dehydrated chunky food for an older child (for example with full dehydrated peas, bits of carrots, and corn kernels instead of powdered). We will definitely use all of our packets because it ticks all our baby food boxes: easy to use, organic, high iron, good vegetables, and (most importantly) baby eats it; but I am curious to try out other flavors to see if maybe those don't provoke my visceral "ramen dust" reaction. Thank you weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me the baby food to test and review. Mar 20, 2020

  • We mostly do baby-led weaning but I was given this product to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I also thought it may be easier to use the Amara while on vacation. When the Amara baby food ar Mar 20, 2020

  • I was so surprised by how much my 9 month old LOVED this. I don't have time to make homemade purees and this absolutely has to be the next best thing. I wasn't aware a dehydrated option existed! Mar 20, 2020

  • Organic, easy to prepare, baby like it! Mar 20, 2020

I like that you can use breastmilk to mix up this food to the desired consistency. We made it pretty thick and my baby ate it all up. A great way to introduce solids since it's so customizable. Mar 20, 2020

  • I love that my picky eater daughter loves it! It is easy to travel with, easy to prepare, and delicious and fresh. Mar 20, 2020

Once mixed up, I love the thicker texture of this baby food when compared to a typical jar or pouch. I am super busy, so it was easy to whip up and I felt good feeding her organic and fresh food! Mar 20, 2020

I didnt like the texture or smell. It also did not make very much. Most important my baby didnt like it. Although it was very easy and quick to prepare. Mar 20, 2020

  • Great guilt free "homemade" organic option for your little one. Quick and easy to prepare with nothing but real veggies! The texture was pureed like typical Gerber food, but had a strong pea flavor. Mar 20, 2020

  • Great idea, easy to prep, great ingredients, but baby didn’t like it. A great option for busy or lazy moms like me who have mom-guilt about not making homemade baby food. Will check out other flavors. Mar 20, 2020

  • Great organic & non GMO product. I love that it is grab and go and can be easily mixed with water, breastmilk, or formula whenever and wherever. I'm impressed with the production process & ingredients Mar 20, 2020

  • I don't have time to make organic baby food, so when I find a product that has ONLY real food ingredients that my baby enjoys, I jump on it. This is why I love this product. Mar 20, 2020

  • My baby didn't really enjoy the texture of the food Feb 24, 2020

  • I feel like it is hard to get good vegetables for my baby. I always see lots of fruits and sweeter vegetables but I want my baby to enjoy green vegetables and not get too only eating sweet fruits and vegetables. In the past, I have sometimes made my own baby food, and while I do not mind doing that, it definitely is time consuming. When I was offered this product through weeSpring Parent Panel, I was so excited for my baby to try something new and to have access to more vegetables without me having to make it! The fact that it is organic is just another plus! The food comes in a convenient little package that is easy to throw in a bag and bring anywhere. I also like that as I am exposing baby to the new food, I can combine it with my breastmilk so that she still has those nutrients! When I first mixed up the packet, I was a little nervous by the color, while I want my baby to try green vegetables, this mixed up to a very bright green. I was also nervous about how baby would react because she didn't like potatoes the last time she tried them. I gave her a bite and while it took her a second to figure it out, she really liked it! I think that the added sweetness of the banana balanced with potato and kale! The texture was similar to her oatmeal, so she I think that was helpful as well! The price is a little more than I tend to spend on food for my baby which is why I only gave this 4 stars instead of 5. Overall it is a great, convenient product! Jun 01, 2019
