The saying goes “when baby isn’t happy, nobody's happy” and that definitely stands true when baby has gas. Que Dr. Brown’s bottles. With their vent technology designed to mimic breastfeeding and limit the amount of air baby can consume during a bottle feeding, they help to reduce gassiness, reflux, colic, spit-up and even burping. Parents love that they’re also available in glass and travel well.

The Catch: There are a few extra parts to this bottle, so be prepared to keep track of a extra pieces.

  • These are great for my baby boy. He has Down Syndrome and the narrow neck of these is one of the only ones he can manage with his low muscle tone. Mar 28, 2023

  • The only reason I’m neutral is the cleaning and all the parts. If you don’t keep the flow cap scrubbed out it can grow mold Jun 14, 2020

  • Love these bottles for colicky babies! The venting system allows for air to escape the milk so that your baby doesn’t swallow air. These are harder to clean, but worth your baby not having painful gas May 23, 2020

  • I liked that it was great for reducing colic, but it had many parts. And to make sure that it wouldn't leak everywhere you had to put a cap under the nipple. Too much hassle for me. Feb 22, 2020

    Easy to assemble. I used this for paced bottle feeding while I tried to get my daughter to latch. Lots of parts to wash though. Fits Medella Pump, so I use one to help remember which one was my left. Oct 23, 2019

  • Our baby refuses all other bottles. The anti-colic insert helps prevent air bubbles and the thin bottle makes it easy for our baby to hold. Also, bottle doesn’t leak which is a huge plus! Sep 22, 2019
