We purchased this with the expectation that it would live up to the description and be medical grade etc. unfortunately we kept getting inconsistent readings. I resort to rectal temps more often than I would like for accuracy. We brought it to his last check up to compare the reading with the doctors professional reading. The doctor used it and got several differing readings. extremely disappointed in this purchase. Jun 28, 2018
