We are obsessed with these nipples! Very easy to clean and natural just like the breast. There is no nipple confusion and I love how many different flow rates they have! Feb 05, 2024

  • These work well for us but sometimes the flow doesn’t quite seem fast enough Jun 19, 2023

  • This was a perfect flow for our baby. Con: The end of the nipple can tear after awhile and make too big of a hole for baby. Easy to clean. Jan 02, 2023

  • Not sure how to feel about it yet. Trying to get LO back on bottles, so I thought having variable flow would give me more options. But from what I gather, these might be better for thicker liquids? Mar 29, 2022

  • I just moved my son up to this bottle nipple size and he loves it. He is 3.5 months old. He was getting frustrated with the size below this one and has been doing great since we moved up sizes. Feb 09, 2021

Worked fine to control different flows but really wasn't worth it in the long run. I just ended up using them for a few days to determine whether or not my son was ready for a faster flow nipple. Jul 20, 2019

  • Easy to clean. Both of my sons have used them. Jun 26, 2019

  • These worked great for my daughter. Jun 24, 2019

  • (what's this?)

So easy to use and change between flow rates without having to switch out the whole nipple! May 18, 2019

  • Baby loves the flow of milk. Sep 14, 2018

  • Had gotten this thinking it saves me from going from med flow to fast flow. Baby drinks too fast after using this. Aug 09, 2018

  • My babies not old enough for this size yet. He is still using a 0 at 7 weeks but this is the only brand I will buy. Jul 14, 2018

  • These nipples have numbers 0 and up. I would definitely recommend a new born starting out on the 0 drip flow it's like half a drop. My newborn used this till almost 2 months old before going to a 1 Jun 21, 2018

  • I don't know what it is, but the flow on these nipples are way too fast. My son is 4 months & keeps choking every time we use these. I held the bottle sideways to test & milk sprayed out on its own May 18, 2018

  • I agree with the other parents, while the concept is perfect the actual execution isn't s great as I'd hoped. Definetly leaks a lot quicker than expected even on the lowest flow. May 14, 2018

  • Didn't like these. You have to have the nipples a certain way or they'll leak and I could never get it down! My baby would be soaked every bottle because of the leak Apr 26, 2018

  • (what's this?)

We received this nipple from the weeSpring Parent Panel, but unfortunately we were not even able to use it because it leaked so badly. Feb 08, 2018

  • These are great if you are putting rice in the bottles, but they run a bit fast with just formula. So use with caution. I'm not sure the I, II, III, work quite like they intend them too. Jan 30, 2018

  • (what's this?)

Me and my baby are very pleased! I struggled with bottle feeding because baby and I were so used to breastfeed. Every other brand I used gave my baby a lot of gas. But the first time I used Philips Av Jan 23, 2018

  • (what's this?)

The slowest flow works well but I only give my son breastmilk so far so I do not use the other two faster flows. Jan 22, 2018

Pro: EBF baby took the bottle! Con: milk flow is pretty fast, even on the smallest setting Jan 19, 2018

  • This nipple has been good so far. The design has allowed my baby to take in milk at a good rate. In addition, it doesn’t seem like my baby has swallowed more air than usual. Jan 19, 2018

I love that these nipples resemble the breast in shape and texture. The variflow is a little much for my 4-month-old in terms of flow so we're sticking with the ONES for now. But, we'll try again. Jan 18, 2018

  • (what's this?)

Love the convenience but my exclusively breastfed baby did not take to it, so I'm sad to say we will not continue to use this product. Jan 16, 2018

  • (what's this?)

I was given this bottle nipple to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. My son will only use the Avent pacifiers, so I thought these nipples would be a great fit for us. Unfortunately, we did not Jan 16, 2018

  • (what's this?)

I loved this nipple as it allows me to mimic the flow of breastfeeding as much as possible. Jan 16, 2018

  • Love how easy it is to change the flow, and that worked great for our baby, but he did get quite gassy during the feeding. Jan 16, 2018

Love being able to use one nipple with multiple flow rates - no need to change nipples every couple of months as baby gets bigger. Jan 16, 2018

This nipple is shaped most like a breast/nipple than any other nipple my babies have used. Watching my baby drink from this nipple was similar to the way she fed from the breast. Highly recommend! Jan 16, 2018

  • (what's this?)

This nipple has different flows when moved differently towards the baby. It is convenient to only have one nipple versus 3 different sizes. Jan 15, 2018

  • (what's this?)

As I only use bottles for one baby at a time with only breast milk I didn't find this feature for me, but if you doe need a variable flow nipple it absolutely does work. Jan 15, 2018

  • (what's this?)

You can control the flow depending on how the bottle is tilted, and the anticolic vent is a great feature to avoid extra gas. My breastfed baby loved it! Jan 14, 2018

Like the rest of the Philips nipple range, it's easy to clean and use and lasts. I love that you can vary the flow so easily and wish i'd known about it earlier so I didn't buy so many other nipples! Jan 13, 2018

  • (what's this?)

I received the Philips Avent Natural Variflow Nipple as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel. My 3 month old baby has had difficulty taking a bottle from the beginning. This bottle and nipple feels an Jan 13, 2018

  • (what's this?)

The idea of this nipple is awesome but it did not work for us. The slow flow seemed too fast for my 3.5 month old and she didn't latch on even after multiple attempts. It is a good idea though! Jan 13, 2018

  • (what's this?)

The thing we loved most about this nipple was the ability to dial in on just the right flow for our little guy. He’s always been breastfed, but he took to this nipple almost as well as the real thing. Jan 13, 2018

  • (what's this?)

I really like the re-design! This would be an amazing option for a formula fed baby, my personal preference for my BF baby is a slow flow. Awesome that it’s so easily adjustable though! Jan 13, 2018

  • (what's this?)

My little one had no problems taking to this nipple. The wide, soft shape, may have had something to do with this. Flow rate was too fast for my liking, especially as a mother who is breast feeding. Jan 12, 2018

  • This nipple is a great option if you thicken your baby's milk or formula as it can accommodate different flows and different thickness of liquids. Jan 12, 2018

  • (what's this?)

Great for a breastfed baby going from breast to bottle and then back to breast. No issues with gas after feeding. Easy to use and clean. Jan 11, 2018

  • (what's this?)

This was nice! My baby doesn't take bottles well, but he took this one better than most. I like the variable flow and will continue to use this as he gets older. Jan 10, 2018

  • Nipples very similar to the breast which has made bottle feeding an easier transition for my son since I've gone back to work1 Jan 10, 2018

  • (what's this?)

  • (what's this?)

Overall, I love the design and optionality, but I think the Variflow nipple may be more innovative in theory than in practice while conveniently still a usable nipple. Jan 10, 2018

  • (what's this?)

We typically use a size 0 nipple to help pace our 3 month old's feeds. This nipple poured milk into her mouth without her needing to suck. She would slurp the milk in and promptly dribble it out. Jan 10, 2018

  • (what's this?)

I received these nipples from the weeSpring parent panel to try and review. These mimic the breast and are great for babes that are both breast and bottle fed. Jan 09, 2018
