This is far-and-away the favorite among weeSpring moms. It's a workhorse: reliable, easy-to-use, and effective. Or as one mom put it, "This is the Volvo station wagon of breast pumps; it may be a bit big and heavy, but it always works when you need it." It comes built into its own bag, with space for all the requisite pump parts and a little cooler to keep milk fresh. Be sure to call your insurance company--it might be free!

The Catch: It is large, which can make commuting and/or traveling with it cumbersome.

    This pump works well for me and is straightforward to use. Over time, even on the highest setting, its intensity lowered significantly but I still pumped the same amount regardless. May 20, 2022

  • It works well. Their customer service is great! If you feel like the pumps not working as efficiently as it once was then call them and they’ll help troubleshoot. If suction is still low they replace Jan 05, 2021

    If you get it for free through insurance it’s a great pump. I used with my first and it worked well. Hated cleaning all the parts though. Didn't work for my 2nd and wish i had rented Hospital one Oct 22, 2019

  • It is but if you're going to be exclusively pumping, I'd look into the smaller one that is more portable. I forget the style but I remembered thinking it might have been nice to not be limited to a wall outlet. Not sure if you compromise power. This one will do the trick though!

  • I had to pump for the first four months (my son was a premie and had to be on a combo of breastmilk and formula until he was 4 months old) and then I pumped at work until he was a year. I used this pump at work but didn't like it nearly as much as the hospital grade one that I rented. It's powerful enough but the hospital grade ones are even stronger. I also had some supply issues though.

  • Yes, definitely. It is a great pump. Plus it's nice that it comes in a bag that just looks like a tote for when you're transporting it back and forth if you're using it at work or traveling.
