This cover is not only stylish but gender-neutral. The chevron portion is waterproof and is a plastic material, which is easy to clean. The sides however, is white minky material. It's soft for baby to touch - but it does get dirty fast! The chevron portion is wipable with a wash cloth or wipe, but you still need to machine was the cover to clean the minky material and it can only be air dried to prevent the plastic from melting. Overall, great cover. May 28, 2017
