This is what we used initially for our son when he was a newborn. I think it is so gentle and easy to use when they are tiny. We will get another for baby number two!

I’ve been using this in a baby bathtub since day one. Relieves any fear of bumping her head on the plastic, or her sliding down. Mine lasted almost 3 months before I decided to replace.

Used this in my deep sink for bathing until 6 months when I put twins in bathtub. Don't need to spend a lot on baby tub, this was sufficient.

An inexpensive alternative to a baby bathtub, this takes up much less room and I have used it in the sink, the bathtub, and to lie my baby on when I'm getting him undressed for his bath.

keeps baby safe and secure in use with our plastic tub.

We used this more than our baby bath. It's so basic but keeps baby in place and is easy to wash with as a new born, and then to use as a base in a laundry basket when baby outgrows the baby tub.

We got two of these for our twins and they are they best and most used bath items, hands down. They might be boring, but they are soft, easy to wring, and just the right thickness!

Got this for the Boon bathtub. must have for newborn as they slide down. She is 4 months and we still use it.

Used in the beginning, and it helped keep baby warm and supported inside his tub. And I would def buy again for the price.

Great for slippery wiggly babies you need to be able to reach into the bath to get to the baby though and they need to be replaced after a bit of use as they start falling apart on the edges.

Add this to the 4Moms tub for added comfort!

Bought this for my second child and I wish I had it for my first. 1.) it's cheap 2.) it's great for newborns who have no muscle tone 3.) it's easy to store 4.) my LO seems pretty comfortable on it

I loved it. It was so much easier for me than dealing with one of those tubs. You can use it right in the bathtub.

I like but I don't love it. I switched again for the one that came with the bath tub.
It's not easy to dry.

We used this with out little one for a few weeks but had to switch to something that was inclined because he didn't like having water around his head.

Nice, low-cost way to keep baby from slipping down.

Talk about simple and cost effective!! I have an infant bath tub but really this works just as well and I think can keep them warmer because they can have the warm wet sponge on there whole back.

Was nice so baby didn't lay or sit on the hard tub but it did not hold up well at all

I bought the 4moms bathtub and it does not come with a sling. It was really had to shower my bay i bought this sponge and it makes it so much easier because my baby is more confortable.

it absorbs the water for a quick wipe down.

SO glad we got this instead of a baby tub. our LO loves it. it's super easy to use, keeps him warm, is easy to dry and clean and is a huge space saver (and easy to tuck away when we have guests)
Feb 19, 2015
The fisher price sling didn't work for our baby so we put this inside the plastic tub and it works great!

key for easily bathing your newborn before their umbilical cord stub falls off OR simply while travelling... super comfy and resists water.
Aug 22, 2014
This was just really annoying to use. I ended up just keeping him in the baby tub til he was really solid at sitting in the real tub.
Jul 31, 2014
$6 seems like a lot for a sponge until you realize it's bit enough for your baby to lie on it. Made those initial sponge baths easy.
