  • This one is leagues better than the removable one! My son can hit this and see the other side pop up it's allt of fun for him Jan 24, 2024

  • Great option for tech free fun! My little guy loves "bopping" the pieces with the hammer and it's great for hand eye coordination Nov 03, 2023

  • My kids used this toy a lot it’s great for hand eye coordination and they loved just hammering away Oct 01, 2023

  • Kiddo loves it, but beware, that hammer is sharp/solid and it can cause digs in floors and furniture. I'd suggest for carpeted areas only! Sep 22, 2023

  • Both of my littles enjoyed this toy. Great for hand-eye coordination. Jul 08, 2023

  • Another great one from Melissa and Doug. My little one loves to tap on things and always puts two toys together to make a sound so I thought this would be a great toy to keep her busy. She loves this! Aug 29, 2022

  • I bought this way too early, though it's been clear for a while that my daughter likes to hit things. At 15 months, she pokes at each of the wooden pegs with her finger. Good for cause and effect. Jun 01, 2022

  • This toy is kind of annoying. the pegs get stuck and it's hard for an adult to even push them down. It doesn't seem to last. Jul 27, 2021

  • Genius toy! The pegs are secured so you never have to worry about loosing pieces! The pegs move up and down as they are hammered. Very simple to use and fun. My son really liked playing with this toy. May 03, 2021

  • My 1 year old loves this toy. The wood is pretty beat up from him hitting it but it’s held up great so far! Feb 15, 2021

  • Well made. Good for learning cause and effect and eye hand coordination. One of our more popular hammering toys in the house. Feb 13, 2021

  • It’s a noisy toy—not fun for mom and dad, but it delights the kids! We practice colors with this—I call out a color and the boys hit it! Oct 11, 2020

This was fun for my daughter for about a day. Then it seemed to get boring for her. Jan 14, 2020

  • Poorly painted- looks like my kiddo actually painted it himself (two different orange paints on one part). My son lost interest after a couple days and has never used it again. Aug 23, 2019

  • This toy has been great for teaching my son what he CAN hit. Seems to be great quality, but have had to confiscate the hammer on occasion when my toddler gets too crazy. Aug 07, 2019

  • Cute toy. Baby is working on hand-eye coordination with it. Jul 18, 2019

  • Great learning tool for my son. My only issue is that one of the pegs have slightly cracked over time otherwise it is pretty fun and amusing Jun 13, 2019

  • The kids enjoyed it but I wish they all could have went down at once. It frustrated the kids after a bit. Jun 12, 2019

  • I love this bench- it's great that the pegs stay put so you are looking for them all of the time. My son loves using the hammer. One draw back- the hammer is wood and will damage other things! Apr 03, 2019

  • My son loves this Mar 06, 2019

Got this for my 12 month old. I think she has to be a bit older. She does try to hit the little pegs, but at this age she usually stands on it. It's a great toy for 12+'s development. It's a must have Feb 06, 2019

  • Love this little wooden bench. Little ones love to pound on it and watch the pegs go up and down. Melissa & Doug make great products and this didn't disappoint. Jan 06, 2018

  • Got this as a gift, wish we hadn't. Hammers and toddlers are no good together. Nov 27, 2017

  • Daughter loves this! Oct 05, 2017

  • Great toy! I especially love that the pegs stay in. Perfect for little ones who aren't quite ready for a tool bench. Jun 01, 2017

  • The "pounding" seems a little too easy? My 18 mo wasn't interested in pounding with the hammer & used his hands instead. Sep 08, 2016

  • One of my son's favorite toys Dec 15, 2015

  • Great for learning coordination, but I may like the old-school one better now that the baby has this one down. Jul 15, 2015

  • OK. I wish we had the original wooden peg version. My 15 month old gets a annoyed that he can not get all of the pegs down. Jan 07, 2015

  • Unlike the original one, this one is much more entertaining, as the pegs do not come out and when you hammer one side the other comes up. Great for both my kids 3 and under! Jun 17, 2014
