Develops the Senses Through Hands-on Play

This play set adds even more dimension to the wonderful tactile experience of working with clay, making it the perfect practice ground for growing skills. With four colors of clay and nine wooden tools to roll, stamp, and add patterns, children have lots of ways to explore texture, form, and color. Younger kids can identify the colors, blend them together, and match the colors of the clay to the colorfully painted tools. Older kids can create geometric shapes and mini-sculptures of their favorite things, or even form letters and numbers as a literacy exercise. For imaginative children, the variety of colors makes it easy to create an imaginative world: Kids can create characters, animals, vehicles, and more for pretend play or display-worthy artworks. Even the wooden storage crate can add to the fun: It can be used as a corral for animals, flipped over as a stage for mini-performers, and more.
