Now that my son is older, this cup works fine, although the handles take up a large amount of space in a diaper bag. It took him a while to figure it out when just learning, but was the easiest. (Feb 05, 2014)

As baby grows you’ll inevitably need to transition from bottle or breast to a sippy cup. The Playtex First Sipster Spill-Proof Cup has a soft spout to make it as easy as possible. Baby can chew on the nipple, making this cup a nice starter sippy cup. It’s also easy to grab and hold on to for when baby really gets the hang of things, and the simple valve system is easy to pop in and out for cleaning.
The Catch: Parents feel these cups are bulky and take up a lot of cupboard/diaper bag real estate.

I bought these before. I did research on sippy cups, and realized they are no longer recommended. So we no longer use them, as any speech, therapist will tell you not to. Sep 23, 2023
