what parents are saying
The setup of the baby monitor is fairly straight forward and I didn't experience any issues with initial setup. Upon opening the box and looking through the contents the one thing I didn't like is that you have to download the manual. I understand it probably cuts down on cost slightly and most people probably don't read it. The unit doesn't really come with much other than a quick start guide and safety instructions. I do believe that this unit is safe & secure - I don't have a reason to suspect my other monitor isn't either. Parent Unit: Comes with rechargeable batteries which is an appreciated inclusion or you can just use 2 AA batteries. You can set a timer of 5-20 minutes (increments of 5) for music, projector or night light in any combination or you can set them to continuous. Long battery life - mine lasted just over 24 hours being 15+ feet away from the baby unit. Audio is very clear but picks up sound from my white noise machine but it doesn't cause the lights to come on. Baby Unit: Can be operated on 4 AA batteries or just plugged in. I did actually put batteries in mine and the power will switch over from battery if you plug the unit in. I actually really appreciate that the base unit can run off of batteries, we don't have as frequent power outages here but they still happen and sometimes they're quite long and can often happen at night. I did not test for battery longevity as each additional option you turn on would likely cause them to drain faster. If you turn on the music/night light or projector it will adhere to your preferences that are set on the parent unit. You can also turn the volume up or down and skip lullabies (although I don't really see much usefulness in it). Here's the winner for the parents who lose things (ha) - there's a FIND button on the baby unit that will page the parent unit (or so your kid can summon you) One of the features I liked was one of the most simple - the clock! My other monitor doesn't have a clock and if I don't drag my phone around with me then I usually don't know what time it is. The other feature I really really appreciated was the option for temperature alerts. My daughter's room is south facing so it is literally the coldest room at night and the hottest during the day. Just this last week we've had temperatures below zero at night and her room dipped below what it should be and the alert let me know so I could adjust our thermostat. Overall I do like this monitor - it works really well, has a lot of features and a LONG battery life. I would also like to extend a thank you to the weeSpring Parent Panel for supplying our family with the unit to test and review. I am hopeful to transition away from our current video monitor to this one, it's just nice for me to be able to see what the fuss is about without going into her room if I don't need to. If this monitor was also video I would hands down switch over ASAP. (Feb 09, 2019)

Exceptional audio quality. Parent device is ergonomic and smooth. Projector and music are soothing without being overstimulating for bedtime. The range of the audio reaches all over my 2,000sqft home Feb 09, 2019

My favorite feature is the sound detection (crying, moving around, etc.) because the monitor vibrates and alerts me. I am a deep sleeper sometimes and the vibration and sound helps to wake me up. Feb 09, 2019

Clear sound, soothing lullabies, and great security with DECT technology. Battery life is long and the range is wide. Just wish it had a video monitor! Feb 09, 2019
