Why weeLove the Baby Jogger City Tour:

You know you’re a parent when a new stroller makes you feel giddy. It’s the little things, right? And speaking of little things… we don’t leave home without the new City Tour from Baby Jogger. This ultra-lightweight stroller clocks in at just 14 pounds and stores compactly in its own travel backpack. Not only does it have an effortless one-handed fold, but you can also steer it with one hand—a feat that's impossible with a regular umbrella stroller. Aside from easy everyday adventures, just imagine how much better your next airport experience will be. (You can even bring it on the plane and store in the overhead bin!).

Kiddos up to 45 pounds will cruise around comfortably in this sleek, portable stroller. Parents gush about the smooth ride, reclining seat, big canopy with peek-a-boo window, and optimal handlebar height. Better yet, the price point for all these perks is just over $150. (Just a heads up that the basket is on the smaller side, and you shouldn’t hang a diaper bag from the handle bars since the stroller is so light.) When not in use, stash it in the trunk with plenty of room to spare for groceries or slide it into a tiny hall closet.

  • Best travel stroller. Packs up to be the lightest stroller and so compact. The canopy is huge and it essentially reclines to near laying down position. The only rhing I dont love is the smaller basket Feb 24, 2024

  • Folds up small enough to fit in a plane overhead bin. Amazing travel stroller, still has a nice recline for sleeping tot. Jun 02, 2023

  • Best single stroller I own! So easy and lightweight to push baby, takes up little space in my trunk and was perfect for traveling on planes and not worrying about my stroller getting ruined! Aug 24, 2022

  • The seat is way too shallow. My daughter is big for her age (90%+) but she has outgrown this stroller by 18 months. Even with it reclined all the way she is still not comfortable. I love the carry bag May 29, 2022

The super easy food and how light it is, it comes with a bag that you can easily wear as a bookbag! Apr 02, 2022

  • This stroller is amazing for going to the airport with. Mine came with the bag so we brought it on the air plane and stored in overhead luggage. We were able to unfold and fold so quick for use! Jul 20, 2021

  • Good travel stroller for us because it's very easy to fold. Seat leans back further than my son would like at the most upright position and storage is lacking. Jul 19, 2021

  • I love this stroller so much! I can push it one handed while holding my older child’s hand and steer perfectly fine! It’s lightweight and folds up so small! It’s wonderful!!!! May 17, 2021

  • I have the City Tour 2 but don't see it listed on this group. I must say I love it! So easy to open and close. Very compact and comes with easy to use carrying case for travel. May 14, 2021

  • The best thing since sliced bread. I could fold and take it on plane with me which Is awesome that I don’t wait for the stroller to come out of cargo. Aug 26, 2020

  • Great for travel Jun 05, 2020

The worst stroller. There is hardly any seat so your baby hangs by the straps. The straps are also hard to use and you have to keep hooking them together. Also, the break broke. Mar 11, 2020

  • Perfect for air travel - fits in the overhead bin, folds easily and is LIGHT! Feb 19, 2020

  • We used this at Disney with 15 month old and it was beyond perfect! Light, portable, easily foldable. Daughter loved it and happily crawled into it and reclined in to nap. Great buy! Feb 08, 2020

Super easy to open and close one-handed. Make sure it works with your car seat or it has adapters available. It was a gift, not our choice, but well-used once our child could fit in it. Jan 31, 2020

This stroller is super lightweight and folds down really small. It is perfect for travel, especially on a cruise where space is a premium. The canopy and recline aren't the best but do the job. Jan 07, 2020

  • Great for travel stroller. Travels well with backpack bag and fits in overhead bin. Unlike umbrella strollers, can push with 1 hand. Not ideal for main stroller, doesn’t hand bumps well. Jan 06, 2020

  • Although this is our stroller that kinda doesn’t work sometimes, it’s still our go-to stroller for quick outings or even the amusement park. Light, folds up easily and does the job. Dec 26, 2019

  • Don't get me wrong its great that its affordable and you can take it on the plane with you. But I had an issue where the stroller bent backwards while my 3 year old was strapped in. Found it unsafe! Oct 31, 2019

  • I loved this stroller! We upgraded to the city mini but I really miss how compact this stroller is, it’s awesome. Oct 26, 2019

  • We got this stroller second hand and love it. It is very compact, light, and easy to use. The seat is a little shallow, but it works well for our little guy. I love how compact it folds up. Oct 21, 2019

Very light travel stroller that served my family well. Pros: light weight, true one-handed fold, generous canopy, durable. Cons: shallow seat, no adjustable foot rest. Version 2 is even better! Oct 14, 2019

  • As great as the fold is on the stroller, the seat is very narrow and my little one wasn't comfortable. She seemed like she was falling out of the seat! Sits in a closet. Aug 25, 2019

oh how i wanted to love this stroller.... biggest con is the very small seat and awkward position. my daughter is petite and was practically falling out of this stroller at just a year old. Aug 21, 2019

So lightweight and maneuverable! I usually use the carrier for walking around the neighborhood, but for longer trips or walks, this is a must. It folds super compact, takes up the size of a backpack. Aug 11, 2019

  • Bought this for travel to Singapore & Indonesia. loved being able to roll our baby around up until boarding. One handed steering is exceptionally smooth. Easy to fold esp when getting in & out of cabs Aug 03, 2019

  • Other stroller options within this category that are better. We received this as a gift and opted to return it for a different model. Not suited for tall children and not always carry-on compliant. Jul 28, 2019

  • I have the first generation one. It works great. Part of the seat fabric ripped and BJ sent me a replacement. The seat depth is a little narrow for older kids, but the belly bar helps keep them in Jun 20, 2019

  • Great travel stroller love that it can fold into a backpack. Only down fall is it doesn't fit very large kids in it , so it can be short lived. Jun 18, 2019

  • The stroller its super easy to fold and compact. Takes up minimal space in my trunk/apartment. Major flaw is the shallow seat. If your child is not strapped, he/she WILL fall out. uncomfortable! Jun 18, 2019

  • I really love how compact this stroller is for travel and leaving in the back of the car, but I don’t think it will last til the wait limit due to seat depth. May 18, 2019

Super lightweight and very easy to push. My daughter often falls asleep in it so I assume it is comfy. Seat is shallow but not an issue for us. Fits in overhead on airplane which is a huge plus! May 07, 2019

  • I really like this stroller for quick in and out trips. We got the belly bar and a saddle bag and it's perfect. Tiny fold and you can use the belly bar as a shoulder strap of sorts to carry it around. Apr 28, 2019

  • I am in love with my city tour. Great for everyday use and running errands. Compact fold fits perfect in the back of my sorento, switch the 3rd row up! The basket is small but we hardly use it. Apr 20, 2019

  • While this stroller does have a narrow seat, my 23 month old son seems comfortable in it. It is very lightweight and I love how small it folds down! Apr 05, 2019

  • I received this Jogging Stroller from the weeSpring Parent Panel. I was extremely impressed with how small it folds up, the ease of folding/unfolding it, and that my 2yo can lay flat and nap in it. Mar 26, 2019

  • I was looking for a lightweight stroller I could use with my toddler as I ran errands, pick up big brother, park trip etc. This stroller is perfect! I love how easy it is to fold with one hand! Mar 21, 2019

  • Lightweight and heavy duty at the same time. Small foot in my trunk is a plus! Fully reclines and has a foot rest. The buckles are a bit tricky. I revieced this as part of the Weespring panel. Mar 20, 2019

my three year old still loves this stroller, my baby thinks it's great too. Just easy to use, smooth ride and not too big in the trunk. Great stroller. Feb 06, 2019

Compact and light. Fits overhead on a plane - you can actually stroll it down the aisle of big planes. The seat was just too shallow, I don't think a toddler would fit in it. Returned for Zoe. Nov 13, 2018

  • Best travel stroller! Fits in the overhead bin on airplanes and folds quickly. Easier to push than an umbrella stroller. Only wish it had options for a newborn. Aug 17, 2018
