Parents love that this seat can fit tiny 5lb infants as a rear-facing as well as much bigger kids (up to 120lbs!) as a booster. With a full steel alloy frame and aluminum reinforced side walls, this seat provides unparalleled safety. It also folds flat for travel, is FAA certified, and thanks to its narrow frame, you’ll be able to fit three across in most mid-sized vehicles, which makes this super popular amongst families with multiples.

The Catch: It’s pretty heavy, so even though it folds flat for easy transport, it’s a bear to lug around.

  • I started with a britax, after seeing my son would quickly outgrow the 1st one we upgraded to the radian. BEST PURCHASE to date. Safest standards on the market, easy to use, ended up with 4 radians! Apr 25, 2018

  • We have 2 of fhese and love how safe they are. Hands down the best car seat out there, however, one of them has issues with the strap and the strap will not get tight no matter how hard you pull. Apr 22, 2018

  • I want to love this car seat, I really do. It is very heavy, great looking, and incredibly sturdy. However, it was complicated to install and recently had a recall on a part of the seat. Apr 16, 2018

  • We own 3 because they are well designed, top rated for safety, fit a 6lb infant and I know my children have enough room to grow. Bonus is they are slim enough to fit 3 in my Pathfinder's second row! Apr 13, 2018

  • Like the narrow size for our small car; dislike how complicated it is to assemble Apr 10, 2018

  • Narrow yes, but also very uncomfortable for the little one. He just never seems like he likes it. Also so hard to install. Apr 07, 2018

  • Best car seat ever very narrow Apr 03, 2018

  • Love Diono! They fit well next to one another in vehicles! Apr 03, 2018

  • Finally a car seat that doesn’t take up all of the room in the back! I have a Durango and it fits perfectly. It is a little heavy though, wouldn’t recommend if you have to take it out often Apr 02, 2018

Everyone
  • Q: Does this carseat have a level on it and adjustable angle base?

    asked by Mollie B. - Jul 09, 2015

  • Q: Does this car seat work with the UppaBaby Vista stroller?

asked by Secretly Expecting - May 04, 2014

  • No. This is a convertible seat and those are not designed for stroller compatibility. Only infant carriers are designed for portability and stroller compatibility.

    Courtney G. - May 04, 2014

  • No, this is not an infant only carseat, it's a convertible, so it stays in the car.

    Marisa G. - May 04, 2014

  • As people said this is a convertible car seat for after the infant one but I highly highly recommend it! I have two and absolutely love them! I have tried others and haven't liked them as much and my friends all wish they got dionos!

    Melissa P. - May 04, 2014

  • No, but if you're taking it to the airport, you can get a rolling luggage cart and strap the car seat to that. You can even let your kid ride on it through the airport. (so say my sources, I haven't tried.)
