Love the active version - baby was too hot in the original version. Worked well up to about 20 lbs then I started needing a little more back support but I still use this for short quick shopping trips

Wanted to love it but between sizes, had to sell :(

This was great when our baby was a newborn but after he got a little bigger it just didn't support much so we had to upgrade to a bigger carrier with back support.

Absolutely love that you don't have to wrap this. Just throw it on and go. Makes it super easy to bring with in trips to the grocery store, mall etc. because you don't have to spend all the time tying

I did my research & thought I'd love this carrier. It comes in white & looks like a wrap but isn't. Took several attempts for me to put it on where it felt secure & was hard to take baby out gently.

We used the K'Tan with our son between 1-4 months of age, but I have found that I love the Solly Baby wrap with my newborn daughter much better! It has a tighter fit and is more comfortable for me.

Securely allows you to "wear" your baby however it takes a little practice in order to get used to getting the baby in and out of carrier and adjusting the carrier so that the baby is snug and secure

I have the mesh version & I love it! It's easy to keep in the diaper bag unlike most carriers. It's my to-go carrier perfect for watching my nephews sporting events, love that it' has SPF.

This carrier feels like a wrap but without the hassle and extra fabric. Easy to get on, comfy and is perfect for newborns to 3 months.

I received this as a gift and returned it almost immediately. I couldn't get a good fit and baby just didn't feel secure in it. Maybe it's because I have a larger chest but it just wasn't for us.

I liked this carrier when my little guy was under 6 months. After that I wasn't comfortable wearing him in this one.

I have the K'tan Breeze and love it. It is simple to use, lightweight and versatile. It worked better when my son was smaller however. He is 8 months now and may benefit from a larger one.

While I really wanted to love the K'tan, I found the sizing and fit to be a bit problematic. It's best to try on the various sizes w/baby for accurate sizing.
Jan 20, 2016
I could never make this tight enough for baby to be secure even though it was the correct size. Also, I can't share it with my husband because it's sized.
Dec 02, 2015
Too fussy to use. I didn't want to have to look at the instructions all the time with a crying baby. I also found the sizing difficult to determine. Skip it and get an Ergo!
Oct 05, 2015
I love my K-tan. So much easier to wear than all those other fabric wraps. Baby loves it. This is my favorite carrier and I have a couple.
Jul 11, 2015
I used this carrier the most when my baby was little. I kept it in the car and took her everywhere with me. It is super easy to just throw on and I felt like my daughter was very secure and close.

We might give this one a slight edge over the Moby due to the fact that it doesn't stretch out quite as much (which means less washing). The only down side is it's sized, which means if you're not the same size as your partner it's hard to share.
May 18, 2015
This seems so much easier than the Moby and my son liked it the times I did use it.
Jan 08, 2015
Mostly used around the house when my son was a newborn and I needed my hands. I never felt totally comfortable with it out of the house. Easier than a Moby by far.

Have the mesh version and my baby still gets super hot in it. He does fall asleep easily in this
Nov 20, 2014
This is our go to carrier for my daughter, is lightweight and breathable, but still feels substantial enough to be safe. Plus you can start using it at 8 pounds, so she could sit in it from day one.

This is an awesome carrier when they're newborns! Really easy to get baby in and out and she seemed really comfy in it. It was more comfy for me to wear than the Ergo.

This is a fantastic faux wrap for when the little one won't yet fit into a more standard carrier. Bigger babies shift around a bit though.

Great for newborns, great for my 4 month old!

Easy to wear! Comfy for mom and baby!

I used it when my daughter was a newborn. It's fabulous because you get the benefit of a wrap carrier without having to figure out how to wrap it.
Sep 20, 2014
I love this wrap for around the house, but I wouldn't use it for long periods of time. It puts all the weight on your back and shoulders, and that can suck after a while. It's great for hip carry.

LOVE this for my newborn. It was simple to put on on and loved carrying my little guy around.

It wasn't supportive after 15 pounds. It was easy to use, though. I recommend getting a smaller size than you think that you need. I donated this to my local baby wearing group when I got a wrap.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this i have the k'tan breeze since i have a June baby and it has been a warm summer. I love that I dont have to mess with a LONG piece of fabric trying to figure out what to do.
Aug 21, 2014
My baby hated this, but it was probably my lack of confidence he was picking up on. I bought a ring sling & like it better
Aug 17, 2014
This was great when my daughter was a newborn, but she wanted to MOVE once she got bigger

Easier than a Moby and folds up into it's little carrying case that's easy to throw in a diaper bag. Loved it!
Aug 06, 2014
Works great! But only I can use it since it sizes like a t-shirt. If my husband wants to wear baby, we'd have to purchase another.

I can't rate this carrier's usefulness because the one I got was too small. I would suggest ordering up a size or two so that it will fit around you and baby.

Instead of a bucket seat, I wore the k'tan after removing baby from her convertible car seat. It's easy, comfortable, and convenient. A must have for the first 4 months.
Jul 23, 2014
a MUST HAVE! It's like a little cocoon for Baby Oprah - sometimes the only thing that will keep her from losing her s**t is popping her in this puppy. Instant calm!
Jun 09, 2014
The perfect carrier for the first few weeks. This is made up of two loops and has easy to follow dorections. I prefer the ergo once baby is bigger but love this for my little bug!
Jun 06, 2014
I love this carrier. It is simple, sturdy and comfortable for me and baby. It has many different carrying positions and looks cute while wearing. It is supposed to be a little tight fitting.
Apr 30, 2014
Perfect for the infant stage where they want to be on your chest every second and you need your hands free on occasion. I went straight from this to the Ergo and that was all I ever needed. -Chelsea D

Really wanted to love this, but I never felt confident that baby was in the correct position so structured carrier was better for us!
Mar 12, 2014
This was great when my son was really little- 3 weeks-4 months. I haven't used it since, but it was great for maternity leave!
Feb 26, 2014
I loved toting my July baby in this. Easy to put on, comfy and you can secretly nurse while shopping at Target. Baby is not so fond of it now that she is four months old and wants to look around.
Jan 09, 2014
I had a bjorn from my first that I used 2x maybe, and that's how many times I've used it with #2 and still hated it - the k'tan is breathable, flexible, I can nurse in it while chasing my 2yo!

Easy and portable. The sizing is confusing especially after you just had a baby, but go one size down cause it stretches.
Apr 13, 2013
I wanted something without hardwear but I never can tell if my kid is truly secure. I tend to hold on to him still.
Dec 01, 2012
This is perfect for those days when the baby wants to be snuggled by mom and mom has to get things around the house done! I wear my baby while folding laundry, vacuuming, and while eating.
Jul 16, 2019
I loved that this was simple and easy to use. Other carriers like the moby where complicated and very hard to use when by yourself. This one was soft, comfortable for baby and I and very breathable.

I borrowed from a friend in 2017, and loved it so much more than my Moby which was just too much fabric for petite me. My mom got me one for baby boy. So excited to use it again!
