I think so! Gus loves it and it is one of the gadgets that he has used the longest. Initially he moved a little and now that he is starting to walk he is a terror in the kitchen scaring the dog and ramming my legs when I'm at the sink :-) I would highly suggest it. I think it makes them feel as though they have a little independence. He has mastered backing up and a K turn in it too.

I think it helped with her leg strength and core control, and she loved being in this thing. As far as teaching her to walk, I think the y-bike by Pewi was the most helpful. She pushed that thing everywhere in our house since it's not bulky or heavy or wide. The joovy walker wouldn't fit easily through our doorways or over carpet edges/thresholds, so it kept my baby confined to certain areas.
