Parents of adventurous babies, rejoice! The Kidco G3000 Auto Close Configure gate is easy to install and maneuver, with a two-way door and an auto-close feature that draws the door closed behind you. It’s a must-have for the oddly shaped area/staircase that doesn’t line up, or fireplace that you don’t want your little one digging around in. Made of sturdy (but not heavy!) steel and with secure wall attachments, you won’t get nervous about your baby pulling himself up on it. Bonus: Kidco’s gates come in a variety of sizes and are interchangeable with playpen panels as well.
The Catch: It’s a little spendy at about $125.
